Sigh there is always one that has to do something like this

Same place you made your character you can do macros for various rolls. It'll spot out the results and a thing you can use to post it. Follow the link for the unseen servant roller up top.Dune wrote:Dune fires a magic missile at the biggest orc with a quick wiggle of his fingers and a sharp word.
ooc hey guys how do I roll dice in unseen ive been trying to figure it out?
Re: Part 2: Enroute to Tragidore
Wiggling his fingers and speaking a sharp word,Dune fires the first of his magic missiles[3d4+3] = 4+3 = 7 damage int: [1d10] = 9 at the biggest orc he sees.

5th level it is 3 according to PHB. 2 at 3rd level, 3 at 5th level, 4 at 7th level, etc.Dune wrote:ooc hey ed when a magic user fires a migic missile at 5th level is it 2 or 3 that comes forth?GreyWolfVT wrote:Just looks like Dogma and ybn need to attack.

Information To Hit: 6 of them are AC 6 if you hit that please roll your damage. There is 1 with AC 4.
To help choose targets here is the look of the orcs now that you can see them better.
There are two with pikes wearing studded leather armor Targets Pike 1 and Pike 2
There are four with battle axes and a small shield wearing studded leather armor Axe 1 Axe 2 Axe 3 and Axe 4
The last one has a short bow and an BattleAxe he is wearing chainmail and has a small shield Orc Boss

Re: Part 2: Enroute to Tragidore
Yikes! Everyone is rolling the Initiative roll!
This should be the first segment of 6, during the first round, it may take a few segments to get those spells off guys!
Next round, the party members with missle weapons (Spell Casters), should try for the boss looking orc with a bow IF he's not already engaged with hand-to-hand combat!

Who am I in melee with? I'd prefer it to be the Boss, but I was just going for the biggest target I could find, hoping to knock the whole lot of them off balance while the others got into position/spells off. If I need to withdraw for a spell, I'll do it if someone yells for me to get out of the way. On my next turn, of course.Talmor wrote: biggest one in the middle

Re: Part 2: Enroute to Tragidore
Well the problem here Talmor is that I have a map to give you all a layout but cannot find a way to get it from roll20.net to here. I also stated they are in ranged attack distance for round one. Plus it appears a mage is casting fireball at the entire orc group so if you are going into melee range you too will be hit with fireball damage. I'm not sure how much longer to wait upon the rolls and attacks that are holding us up but I'll update this later today. Sorry but this is going to be a slow battle as there is crappy weather hitting a good number of folks with tons of snow.

Re: Part 2: Enroute to Tragidore
Ah, I apologize. Since you didn't specify how far away they were, I assumed (and there was my mistake) that they were within at least medium range for a short bow (100 yards-180 yards). With my movement of 12, I can Charge up to 180 yards away and still get an attack off (with a -2 to my AC as a penalty), so I thought I could get to them and attack.
Seeing as how that is not the case, and that they are beyond 180 yards, can I change my action to holding and guarding the casters, or should we assume that I am moving forward toward the Orc? Without a charge, I can move 120 yards towards them.
Also, do I need to calculate encumbrance and how that will effect my movement? Or are we going to handwave that?
