"Reywald you are in for a extremely rare treat then - this group has four priests. All of us have slightly different backgrounds from our different faiths" and she smiles gives wink knowing that is not what was meant at all and starts to sing
I will live life in my own way
I will feed other full after sunset on the fence
And I will let swords disobey
And I will let angels sit and pray
But I will not settle for a life without suspense
And that’s the difference."

Trist adds, "I had a similar reaction when I first meet Del. It took me some time to adjust to the relationship. It did happen though. Del has been a good friend and member of the team."
"We can when everyone is ready look to our traveling arrangements."
Mentally, "Jivet enjoy some freedom and begin scouting in the direction we intend to travel please."

Weston finishes tucking away his map and cartography materials.
"Well, I'm certainly finished here." he says with a smile.

Re: Chapter 7: I7 - Baltron's Beacon
Once more the group sets out having met someone new and agreeing to travel together they set out to gather their things from the inn's that they chose to stay in, and head to the closest stables to see if there isn't a cart driver willing to drive them the distance to their new location. The nearest stables is The Misty Pen. The stable is busy stable hands taking care of the animals there is a horse drawn cart with bench seats parked out front a couple stand near one tending to the duo of horses harnessed and hooked up to the front the other checking their crossbow and other equipment surely this is the guard for the driver of the cart. The Guard looks up hearing the group approach and you see it's a female dressed like a ranger or huntress dark green cloak pair of hand axes strapped to her belt wearing studded leather armor of a hard brown hue, she calls over to the man checking the horses and their connections to the cart he turns and smiles greeting the group "Ah customers mayhaps? Do you folks need a ride somewhere? my name is Durand Bythemont I am the owner and driver of this fine vehicle and that is my guard Qwinnie Woodbryne though she usually goes by Quinn." the driver is a middle aged male human dressed in leather armor sporting only a longsword and dagger and his cloak is a dark brown, he has short tussled light brown hair a mustache but no beard he is semi-muscularly built. His guard Quinn is very athletic looking and has a look in her eyes that she knows what she is doing and is good at what she does, she has long dark brown hair and appears to be half-elf. The two horses are muscular and look like they are fast, they don't appear to be skittish at all either. "Depending on where yer headed will decide the cost. I only take coin no payment in gems er jewels. No lines of credit neither. So where are yah headed?" the driver asks.

Durand chuckles "Yeah, I've heard of it though I don't get too many folks asking for rides there usually beyond it. It's not an overly popular location but we certainly can give you a ride there and if you need one back later on we have business in Kelvin so in a day or two we'll be heading back this way and can stop there on the way back if your around and wanting to come back here. Ride there will cost about 20 gold for the whole group not per head." he replies to Egon.
actually had explained that the maps were 10 mile hexes not 1 mile so you're off a bit.

Trist comments, Thanks Weston. Driver, I have a scout ahead. If I say halt. Heed my instructions. I am Trist. Are you aware of any concerns for our travels? Know highway men issues or bandits and the like? We would like to be prepared if such is possible.

Durand raises his eyebrows at the scout statement "Hmm well aren't you thorough? We were having a lot of trouble with bandits, and other nasty buggers but more recently most of that has died down a bit. They are less frequent, we still have some trouble but it's gotten better lately."Cwreando wrote: ↑Sat Dec 16, 2023 8:13 pm Trist

Gathers his gear and enters the coach. Well you shouldn't have to much trouble with bandits this trip. Unless they are just plain dumb. We have enough divine intervention here to destroy the world if we chose. Got a representative from just about every where. He then goes about sharpening his javelins after bouncing on off the wall in the last adventure.

The cleric nods
"It was easier just to pay all together. It's not like we didn't have plenty of treasure from our previous adventure."
