Podo

Seeing the desperation and resignation in Needle's eyes, Podo watches in horror as they smash his body with their blows. His feeble spear attack missing wildly, he looks up at Kurot. Screaming at the top of his fungal lungs "We have to go now!!"

OOC: Attack from round 4 goes off but I still have my movement correct? If so,I will attempt to pull/grab/lift or otherwise attempt to get Kurot to depart with me and head back toward the hallway.

Max shakes his head “no” and croaks, I need deep rest before I can connect with the almighty AIs again.

Saiph glances at Max

"Very well. Ii think it best that I should wait for the others to arrive before opening a whole, we don't want those things to return and seal it back up."

Silvestri tries to steady his aim with the blaster and adjust for an enemy who seems to not have the decency to stay still:

Initiative: [1d20]=16

Blaster: to-hit [1d20+2]=10+2=12, dmg [3d6]=14, ammo [1d7]=6

With his second head, Urlando notices Denslow fighting alone and decides break away from humanoid #6 to even up the odds against humanoid #2. He makes another savage swing of his morningstar.

Yes, you still have a full movement after your one action (the charge attack). To pull/grab/lift Needle and bring him with you requires a full action (not part of movement), so you can't do that this round.

What do you want to do?

Round 8

Podo makes every effort to charge and plant his spear into the torso of the aggressive construct, but it blocks the oncoming shaft with its powerful arm. (Miss #4)

Denslow continues his offensive but the damaged android side-steps his swing. (Miss #2)

Kurot continues his triple-axe-attack, connecting with a single chop into the damaged foe! (7pt. dmg, #5)

Silvestri tries to blast his opponent but the severely damaged humanoid avoids the energy ray. (Miss #6)

Urlando takes note of Denslow lone stand, so the twin-headed mutant lunges forward to strike and severely damage the plantient’s adversary! (8pt. dmg, #2)

Max regrets that his powers are exhausted for the day and is unable to assist with breaching the magic wall.

Saiph concludes that they should wait for the others to arrive, lest the artificial repair floaters return before they are able to make an escape.

I will break off and head to the hallway, after I give Needle a look of gratitude for his sacrifice.

Saiph waits with max. He glances down the passageway, looking for signs of the movement, hoping to see his companions rather than the evil cloaked ones.

Podo

Podo pauses momentarily at the controls to the entrapped beings with the tubes coming from his back, looking at the console he attempts to understand if anything is recognizable to release Urlando's last companion from his suffering.

Artifact check? I don't want to touch anything, just try to assess if I can understand an on/off type of control. Would that be my entire action?

Ty, instead of checking the console then: Podo uses his spear and long reach to try stay at distance from the spray he is expecting and brings it down in a swiping strike to separate some of the tubes connecting the remaining victim.

Max scans the walls. He recalls that there was nothing here last time they were in the room, but he checks just in case he can find some machinery to try to understand to open the wall.

Antons hammer is a blur as he strikes back at his assailant:

Nailed him!
