Re: OOC I
Short rest it is.
You each have 3 hit die that you can spend to recover hit points, per the rules on taking a Short Rest. We'll push on once everyone has done what they want to do during this short rest, which I'll say you can complete without interruption.

Since it's a free feature Sky can perform without needing to spend a point or expend a limited resource on, sure.Shaede wrote:Oh, I missed that we were injured. Definitely a short rest. Also, can we assume that Sky is playing a little tune for the Song of Rest benefit?
If needed.

Re: OOC I
I'm at Gary Con for the weekend and probably won't have a chance to post until Sunday night/ Monday.
On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Hmmm... this will make things interesting.Shaede wrote:I will be traveling all next week and wont be able to advance Hargrem until the 20th.
It's probably no secret that you're approaching the finale of the adventure. I really, really, really would rather not NPC a character at this stage (I especially don't want to be responsible for controlling the party cleric).
Do you guys want to table this game until the 20th?
Normally, I would never suggest pausing a game like this... but I can see this one as being an exception as it shouldn't be too difficult for everyone to get back on track quickly for the final showdown.
Thoughts?

Re: OOC I
I'm good with a pause until Shaede gets back. As you say, we're near the end and I'd hate for someone to miss the ultimate battle.

I'm fine with a game pause

Re: OOC I
Consider this paused.
We will move again on March 20, 2019.

Re: OOC I
Just a reminder that this game should get moving again tomorrow. My plan is to reset the scene, incorporating any of the last actions submitted, and allow you guys to kick off again from there.dmw71 wrote:We will move again on March 20, 2019.
Also, as a head's up, I am taking the rest of the week off from work, which will throw off my normal routine. Expect for my appearances online to be a bit sporadic.

Glad you're back, and enjoyed your time away. I'll try to kick off the refresh post later today before leaving the office.

You guys are just wrecking these twig blights... which is a good thing.

Re: OOC I
I have to leave work to attend my oldest's choir concert tonight, but I've started the next update for this game and saved it as a draft.
I don't see any reason why I shouldn't be able to post it later tonight.

Re: OOC I
Ok so question do we only get the once save vs the entangle spell or do we do this each round? I could probably answer myself simply by cracking my PHB open. I thought, but this might be old school not 5e, that we rolled a save each turn to see if we remain entangled.

It was buried in my wall of words, but you can attempt to free yourself each round using your action (you'll still have your bonus action, reaction, and movement):GreyWolfVT wrote:Ok so question do we only get the once save vs the entangle spell or do we do this each round?
