the bed seems to be enough to keep what sounds like zombies at bay, at least for now

Ruthgar:

Well, it's probably night outside and I for one don't relish the idea of emerging into an unfamiliar forest with some object of great evil power that has tainted the local area. Willing to do the groups will though. If we sit tight maybe we can salvage some of the pews we passed on the way in and reinforce what stands between us and those moaning things.... for now at least. Come daylight we break for the town.

it is a restless night with the throbbing of the gem and moaning of the dead a veil of unease hangs in the air. the door holds but no one gets good sleep.

Phil approaches Ruthgar It was stupid of me to ever touch that vile thing, but could you spare a healing for me? I fear I could be taken down by a harsh word.

Once healed, he'll retrieve his battle axe from where it was wedging the hall door closed, grab his spear, and be ready to move out.

Ruthgar:

Phil, what were ya supposed to do? Fine line between stupid and brave, I think you are on the brave side. Ruthgar lays hands on Phil. Anyone else in need of healing before we get out of here?

Healing for Phil:
CLW: [1d8] = 5
CLW: [1d8] = 8
8hp healed.

Ruthgar prayed for his usual load out of CLW x 4. 1 used for Phil, 3 in the kitty.
Can an updated battlesheet be posted?

Healed up and ready to leave the cursed temple behind the group picks up the lead box and moony leads the way out.

You step into the dead forest, it is eerily quit no sounds, no breeze, you feel the low throb of the gem in the box. The dead lichen covered trees and ground smell of mildew and death.

(please specify what 2 people are carrying the box)

you know you have at least a full day ahead trudging through the forest so you begin to move

Phil resolutely doesn't even want to touch the box, and does everything he can to maximize his distance from it.
