Re: Chapter 4: Wizard's Basement
The room is found to be safe other than the questionable food most all of it inedible unless you wish to see it on a comeback tour later. There is nothing new found in Egon's search. Though he does think the silver sugar bowl might be worth a fairly decent amount. (estimated at about 30+ gp.)

"Well," she giggles "I could wear it as a helmet for now so as not to encumber anyone
with it, heh."

Just the locked door that both rogues failed to pick open. Other than that the door at the bottom of the stairs.

Re: Chapter 4: Wizard's Basement
Room #15 The Coal Hole The steps to this chamber lead down to a locked door. Egon is unable to pick the lock, and finds no traps he hears something through the door sounds like vermin maybe mice or rats. Xlore is able to pick the lock open, he also finds no traps and hears the same as Egon the sound of what most would recognize as mice or rats scurrying around.

Re: Chapter 4: Wizard's Basement
Egon opens the door, the room appears to be largely filled with coal. A pair of large shovels are half-buried in the stuff, which is heaped up toward the eastern end of the room. There are squeaking noises coming from under a pile of empty sacks in the north.

Re: Chapter 4: Wizard's Basement
Egon goes to check out the pile of empty sacks when they sacks begin to move and 10 rats the size of a house cat come out from the pile of empty sacks and they all look very hungry like they have not eaten in quite a while. They eye the dwarf with hungry eyes as if he looks to them like a cooked turkey.

Re: Chapter 4: Wizard's Basement
The giant rats begin to snap at the dwarf as if looking for food they smell the air and go for his pack smelling rations.

"I gave you a choice and you chose wrong."
Strikes with his scimitar.
Scimitar +1 [1d20+2] = 17+2 = 19 to hit [1d8+4] = 7+4 = 11 damage
