older brother is fine if you want instead of twin.

i have my age as 65 since we are essentially 1/2 elf. Aragorn was 85 during the war of the rings.

make sense to me. i added 10years to that for my age.. i think it's reasonable that these characters could be more 'mature' vs the typical teenager embarking into the adventuring world for the first time.

Mere babes. Gilwennen is 161. (But looks 26 due to a strict skin-care regimen.)

I'm sticking with this.

I have a concept in mind. Now I just need to sit down and actually flesh it out (and figure out where all the details are in 1e again).

Next up: Hobbits are pretty rare in the world, and we'll be adventuring beyond the borders of the Shire.

So it's possible that SocraticLawyer's and dmw71's hobbit PCs knew each other before they left home. Just a thought. :)

Ah. I though it was 7 spells per level. Coolie moe. I’m good with whatever! :)
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

It's 7 spells per spell level, not PC level (or dungeon level for that matter!) :D

I'm not married to the idea of hobbit thief. It looks like we'll need more MUs in the party. I can pivot to elf F/MU.

If Urdur is playing a hobbit, things will get truly weird....! :D

Thanks wolfpack.

Looking good. Some thoughts:

HP should be 30. (Rangers get two (d8) Hit Dice at first level, and another HD at second level. The Con bonus to hit points is added for every HD; three in this case.

His encumbrance is "Normal."
His movement is 9".

For languages, a Dunedain would know:
  • Westron, the common tongue of Men
Adunaic, the language of Numenor, from whence the Dunedain are descended
Sindarin, the lower language of the Elves
    Dwarvish
    Orcish
There are no alignment languages.

Please fill in the Saving Throws. Let me know if you don't own a DMG and I can provide them.
A wisdom of 15 gets you a Magical Attack Adjustment of +1 which you should note beneath the Saving Throws, so I don't forget.

Thanks.
