Nexus too moves warily along. Eyes on the snake. Hands on his dagger

Once Ardium recognizes the snakes path is not in conflict with his own, he moves a head, keeping as much distance as he can from that slithering annoyance.

Day 3: Afternoon
The group continues their progress through the hills, pulling the cart behind them, when, unexpectedly, they spot their advance scout back-peddling towards them, as if backing away from something. "Hey, guys... snake!" he says loudly as he continues to retreat towards the group.
While nothing appears to be pursuing the rogue, Dorobo describes a thick-bodied snake just off the edge of the path up ahead. He estimates the snake -- with a copper-colored head and reddish-brown, coppery body with chestnut brown crossbands -- was maybe six-feet-long, and definitely alive as it began to coil in place as the rogue approached it.
The group elects to ignore the snake, if at all possible, and continue on along their journey. As the group returns to the location where Dorobo previously spotted the snake, the reptile had moved on, clearing their path.
Travels over the course of the remaining days prove uneventful.
Until the afternoon on day six, when the first sight of Wesbridge looms on the horizon.

Okay, guys, sorry for the delay on this one. I'll need everyone to deduct four days worth of rations (for days 3-6). I'm working on the introduction to the next town, which will be raised as 'Session 3,' shortly.

Date: 24 Quintilis, Year 7102 Time: 12:51 (Sunrise: 06:59, Sunset: 18:44) Temp: 61 F Conditions:
Ardium is blissfully glad to be beyond striking range of that copper headed snake. 6 feet is longer than he ever heard of. That worries him about what else might be out here.
He eats his rations, hoping that they dont attract slithering things.
deducted 4 rations.

Jaroo follows also. He ducks off into the underbrush from time to time - at camp or along the trail - to pick some herbs and mushrooms to add some flavor and variety to his rations. He offers what he has to those that want it.

Nexus breathes a sigh of relief when the party comes into the sight of Wesbridge.
Praise the Gold we are here. What is the next part of the plan to come I wonder. Perhaps we need to ask around about the missing girl and see if anyone has sighted her recently hmm?
The gnome will eye up the herbs and roots eagerly.
We should keep our eyes and ears open! Whilst enjoying a bit of luxury and a warm bed perhaps!

Unna
Unna looks for an outlying farm where maybe she can stay in a barn in exchange for some labor.
Rations deducted.

Roderick bows his head. "Thank you, St. Garriott, for providing us with a safe journey," he prays.
"Now let us make to the town at once!" he cries to his fellow travelers. "There is no time to dilly-dally, for a lass is in need of rescuing!"
