Urgosh Fighter looks at his frozen comrades and back to those on two feet, "Are they dead?" He will then look to secure or stand watch at the place where the ghouls entered from.

Riagrin, Halfling Thief

Ria will draw her shortsword and approach the entrance the ghouls came through, quietly and cautiously, to see if there is anything else that may attack them.

About an hour later- the paralysis begins to wear off.... your friends stir & climb to their feet.

Each Ghoul has a small amulet with unholy symbols on it. That could explain their resistance to being turned away by clerics.

In the secret chamber the Ghouls were hiding in is nothing but gnawed bones.

To the north is a staircase and a door.

This could have turned out much worse if you had stripped of metal weapons & armor to avoid the heat trap in the tube and the had to face the Ghouls without weapons & armor.

Bucyrus, human monk
"Man, that was weird," says Bucky, as he recovers from paralysis. "Thanks for saving us, you guys!"

Bucky does some jumping-jacks and stretches to get his body warmed up again. "Should we try that door?"

Riagrin, Halfling Thief

Ria will listen at the door and check for traps.
Doesn't sound like anything moving or speaking on the other side.

Goroth kicks a dead ghoul to make sure it is still unmoving. "Eh well is everyone here again or we got others on the other side of the tube still?"

Brother Isaachar: Cleric and 'aide':

Isaachar will prod Asaahn in the backside with the trident, just a joking prod of course nothing too malicious, "just checking you haven't turned all ghoulish yet, the newly dead rise to eat us and I wanted to be sure. :) Here I believe you first carried this"Isaachar offers out the wrapped trident, "Oh and it might be a good idea to put on one of these...don't want no evil controlling cleric to bind you or me to his will", Isaachar puts around his neck one of the amulets and there is another one dangling on the pointy ends of the trident for the other cleric to wear.

The trident keeps demanding that you worship The Lord of all Oceans, its voice yelling inside your head.

Abdul Jhaad Asaahn, occultic priest:

"My strength hasn't fully returned yet. Place the trident down and I'll retrieve it when it has," said Asaahn without making eye contact with the japing, shunned heretic.

With or without the trident (Isaachar's choice), the holy wizard will take his place in the marching order. He won't wear the amulet of the undead.

Riagrin, Halfling Thief

Ready to go through the door?

Unless someone objects, the halfling will slowly and cautiously open the door, peering through the opening to make sure the room is clear before opening it all the way. If locked, she will attempt to solve that problem.

Bucyrus, human monk
Bucky readies himself for whatever might be on the other side of the door. He keeps his spear ready, just in case it's more of those paralyzing-thingies.

The door opens into a long narrow room, possibly 80' long and 20' wide. The walls floor and ceiling are completely silver, like a mirror. There appears to be a narrow pit towards each end of the room and a door at the far end.

Asaahn 13/27

Isaachar 38/44

Riagrin, Halfling Thief

Ria will walk to the edge of the first pit and peer into it, checking to see how deep and wide it is, if there is anything at the bottom...
