Strom is not thinking, he is acting only on instinct. Killing is the only thing on his mind.
He continues the attack on the trog before him with no thought to his own regard.

Attack:
[1d20] = 13
Damage:
[1d8+1] = 4+1 = 5

Gwillt sees an opening in the trog's attack and takes a swing at its inside right leg, looking to make it bleed out before it can jab that javelin at anyone else...

To Hit, Scimitar [1d20+4] = 12+4 = 16

Damage, Scimitar [1d8+3] = 4+3 = 7

"Epsilon, I've got this under control... See to the fallen," he says, with grim satisfaction, as his blade slices trog flesh.

Kaltar is aiming to move up to Orek and heal him as soon as Strom has despatched the trog in between.

The hobbit pushes himself to the wall for Epsilon to go past and waits for Gwilt to take down the trog. Shannigans' hatred for these creatures gets the best of him and he jabs again at the trog (a8), whether the trog be dead already or not, ...
dagger [1d20+3] = 4+3 = 7 dmg [1d4+1] = 4+1 = 5 ....but he cannot bring himself off the western wall long enough to get close enough this time.

Grim feints his agile foe, moving to kick at the trog, then whipping his sword around from an unexpected angle.
He connects but the slice is still not as effective as hoped.
Scimitar [1d20+4] = 15+4 = 19 Thac0: 20 Damage:[1d10+3] = 1+3 = 4

does epsilon think he can squeeze along the wall and get past the trog without becoming the target? Is so he will hold shield up and do that to go bind O'rek.

No. If Epsilon attempts to reach O'rek, he will become an eligible target.

Well, it affects his last roll, in any case...

Makes it a 15, which hits...

It all makes sense now...
Alethan convinces Tonixx to give him super mod powers, right about the time Foxmoor starts up. Strom rolls ones, Gwilt keeps hitting his foe.

I think Al has been secretly sabotaging the other fighter types to gain the glory and credit throughout the land for himself. It is the ONLY explanation as to why Ewell is lying mostly dead and Strom keeps missing... Follows the same general premise of one Dukes of Hazard episode from the 3rd season, where Boss Hogg tries to do the same thing, well, sorta.

To the North
Grimnail feints his agile foe, moving to kick at the trog, then whipping his sword around from an unexpected angle. He connects but the slice is still not as effective as hoped. The wounded beast does its best to stick the barbarian but is unable to connect.

Stuck in the Middle
Strom, acting on instinct, sweeps his bastard sword against the troglodyte threatening the middle of the passageway and connects, sending the now lifeless creature crashing to the ground.

To the South
Shannigans hatred for these creatures gets the best of him and he jabs at the trog again but he cannot bring himself off the western wall long enough to get close enough to reach his intended target.

Epsilon, from the second rank, continues to whack at the swamp creature to the south with his staff but is unable to connect.

Gwillt sees an opening in the trog's attack and takes a swing at its inside right leg, looking to make it bleed out before it can jab that javelin at anyone else. "Epsilon, see to the fallen," he says with grim satisfaction as he watching the creature fall to its death.

(O'rek continues to bleed (-1).
(Darrin continues to bleed (-1).

Grimnail, liking the previous feinting success tries again...
Scimitar [1d20+4] = 1+4 = 5 Thac0: 20 Damage:[1d10+3] = 10+3 = 13
Scimitar [1d20+4] = 4+4 = 8 Thac0: 20 Damage:[1d10+3] = 3+3 = 6
[1d100] = 74
...and slips in the gory mess at his feet, driving his blade into the cave floor. The dark steel bends momentarily under the strain but does not break.

Alethan strikes again! Quit modifying the dice roller! :lol:
