The adventurers meet Princess Daenerys Targaryen at the Keep gate. She stands next to an impressive white unicorn.


"Good morning, I am Daenerys Targaryen. I understand you will be accompanying me through the Borderlands to the pass at Grimtooth Gully. These are my bodyguards..."



Two similarly-garbed men stand silently at her side.

Her wooden wagon is large, locked, and drawn by four horses.

It is an honor to meet you Princess. What an amazing animal you have here! Yes we are here to escort you through these dangerous lands. We have a bit of experience with the roads around these parts.......and its denizens. We look forward to a quick and uneventful trip, but we are prepared in case that doesn't happen.

I assume we are mounted again? Do we need to arrange an order or do they have a system that they use?

Wulfhart, unsure of protocol and not wanting to embarrass himself yet again, quickly mumbles "Good morning, m'lady" and then ambles off to an inconspicuous position.

Albertus, watching the introductions, from horse back, readies himself with a smoke and few sips of elderberry wine to ease his nerves."Hurry up men. I fear trouble along our way. The day is wasting away and we have many mile to go before safety. Best be moving on now..."

Foracor The Financier

Hands Raz his coin purse with 69 gp and says, Here, go buy a dadgum horse and get back here fast!

Foracor introduces himself to the Princess.

Foracor is courtly, deferential, and quite proper. He knows how to curtsy and bow. The elves take etiquette very seriously.

His colleagues are put to shame.

Your Highness, he says, Foracor Ferestivian of the Fellreev Forests at your service. If you have any concerns or wish to share any observations you may have my immediate attention. It stands as a singular honor to be at the service of the Princess.

Foracor mounts up and tries to appear rigid and proper in the saddle, looking ahead.

Razmus gives a little smile as Foracor hands him the money and he turns to go find some stables where he can get himself a horse. "I shall return promptly."

Niles tips his helm and saysI am here to serve and protect and then takes his place in the marching order.

if Niles needs a horse as well he will go with razmus to purchase one

Razmus decides to purchase a draft horse. These things pull wagons, after all. They can't be all that bad at holding a thin man.
