Darkstar is surprised with the woman's resilience but continues to fire, afraid that she may escape and kill others.

Oggle keeps rushing in pursuit. He sheathes a longsword and starts trying to pull out one of the Elfin Slipper plants. "Drop her but don't kill her we might be able to cure her ailment!" He then aims to tackle the woman if the archers can't drop her.

Not sure if im able to catch her being slow footed and all as a dwarf so just let me know if you need attacks Hedge.

The naked woman is moving slower but still dodging through the trees...that is, until Greystone spins her around with an arrow to her back shoulder (2pts), and Tarrin brings her down with another one just under her right breast! (5pts)
She screams as she falls, thrashing in the undergrowth, even as Oggle bursts out of the tunnel, followed by Nokrugh and Cole!
"Drop her but don't kill her we might be able to cure her ailment!" Oggle says, trying to pull one of the elfinslipper plants out of his pack as he moves toward her. When he approaches, the woman is barely alive, yet she still tries to get away, but can't stand up for her wounds are grievous. Having seen such and worse, Oggle hollers, "Thurgrum! She needs some healing or she ain't gonna make it!"

Thurgrum rushes over while Oggle tries to hold her down. The woman is hissing and screaming, still unbelievably strong for her wounds. "Hold her, dammit! And watch out fer her teeth!" Thurgrum yells, pulling forth the holy symbol of Moradin from around his neck.
"A little help here, lads!"

"You'll need...more than help...when the Beast Lord rises to claim these Realms!" she says, growling and trying to grab onto Oggle.

Actions!
AQ > roll me a Strength check for Oggle. Same goes for anyone else who attempts to hold the were-woman down.

A STAT check is where you roll a D20, the goal being to roll under your target stat.

I've also seen stat checks where you roll 3d6, which better emulates (I think) the check.

Greystone grabs one of the arms of the creature and pins it down.

Oggle along with Greystone pins the woman with all his might to the ground and shoves the elfin slipper into her maw.

"Thurgrum damn it hurry up she needs healing NOW!"

Darkstar runs over but does not get within touching distance to the woman.

Don't heal her, you don't even know if she can be cured. We were told that there was only a short window for the slipper' to work, what makes you think she hasn't already been too far gone?

He nocks an arrow.
Give her a swift end before she infects you all.

Tarrin follows at a more sedate pace, but is equally wary. "Agreed. You cannot cure what is sought."

With all the attention on the woman, Nokrugh decides to stand a few yards away and keep watch on the surroundings.

"What if it does work? Do we sacrifice this chance to save someone and learn whose behind this all because of your fears and assumptions!? If it doesn't work you can have your vengeance!"

Oggle says a prayer for Bahamut's divine guiding light during which he continues to help hold this woman down and feed her the Elfin sliper.

"Is your head in your arse? She won't be a dog anymore if this plant cures her ailment. If she's still a filthy beast i'll slay her myself!"

Greystone shakes his head as he struggles to help hold the thrashing woman,"You listen, but you do not hear, dwarf. The Elven Slipper may work to cure the illness, but only if used before the first turning. She is beyond help. Save the herb and put her suffering to end."

"I thought this herb was supposed to cure the disease? Very well i'll put her suffering to an end." Oggle will pull his longsword and end the thrashing woman's life.

When the woman is dead Darkstar says to Oogle
Master dwarf you speak and fight from your heart but realize that your mind is your greatest weapon. You must pay attention to the details, especially when you risk the lives of others. What of those who helped you subdue the woman? One bite could spell doom for them or you, the slipper' is not a perfect cure in the best of circumstances.
