Magdal frowns, "So much for helpful sorts," as she moves back to help with the travois, "I think the blonde held those reins, even though Mendel had them in his hands." She shrugged and wondered how far they were to drag this, worried about her companions. Adventuring turned out to be as work intensive as working at her ma's inn.

I promise this will be my final stall tactic. Thanks for being patient everyone!!!

Back To The Keep
The Final Leg
Mostly Cloudy, Evening

After a few keen observations are made, the group of three decide to press on before darkness sets in completely. They grab up their wooden sled and resume lugging their immobile friends back towards the Keep.

The sun sets as they make their way back to the Old Road again, allowing them easier passage, even though the sky is getting darker by the minute.

It is almost completely dark out by the time they make it to within sight of the torch-lit front gates of the Keep. Before you arrive, a colorful merchant's wagon appears to be heading up the stoney path towards the entrance.

At last, the long, difficult trip is nearly over when you finally arrive at the fork in the road that leads up to the Keeps gates, where you spot a small contingency of folks who appear about to leave the building on foot.

Glad they are almost there, the cleric starts pulling the travois up the final trail.

If he thinks the folks at the gate will hear him, he will call out to them. "Hello, can you help us! Our friends have been seriously hurt. Help!"
