Peering at the great pyramid, you three can see it too.

All PCs see that the red light of dawn is being reflected by something too small to discern, atop the great pyramid.

Hey gang,
I'm going to cut the House Rule on Critical Hits and Misses from this game.

It's not BtB and, more importantly, my experience in the other game I'm DMing is that it's been more negative than positive for the PCs.

Thanks.

Thanks Ken.

Everyone, my next DM post will be Monday morning at the latest. (I tend to slow down on the boards over the weekend)

In the meantime, can I please get a marching order for the larger group: Garrin, Goniza, Gronda and Roan?
And are you walking 1, 2, 3 or 4 abreast? (It's pretty open in this area of the Lost City)

Thanks.

Garrin definitely wants to be up front, so that he might better deliver the "word" of Mitra. :D

I'm not sure it will make much of a difference, but should we all stay in a single file line and follow the same prints?

Gronda doesn't much care where she is in the order, but she will stay near the front if/when there is more tracking to do.

Yeah, I like the idea of staying single file. It might not matter, but maybe our tracks won't be seen and blend in with the others.

So...?

Garrin
Gronda
Goniza
Roan (to protect the rear)

I'm good with whatever is best for the group. What do you guys think?

Looks good to me. Roan likes to have people in front of him where he can watch them. Especially if they are spellcasters (arcane or divine), whom he distrusts considerably.

I wouldn't mind waiting for the group to reunite.

Unless of course there are members that don't want that.

I am fine with Mants order.

I think we should wait for them too, but I don't think they're coming our way. Hopefully we'll meet back up in the ruins.

Hell of a thing, setting the game in the desert. There's one of the low-level druid's most useful spells, Entangle, right out the window. :)

Not that it matters, but I added the +5 to hit based on strength, dex, and barbarian ability. Is that right?
I don't think you get the Strength bonus with a missile weapon. Just Dex and Northman's spear bonus.

The DMG is actually silent on specifying one way or another for combining all the missile/spell/device/turn undead etc. abilities with movement.

This book really speaks to me: C is for Cthulhu

Also: I'm going away for a long weekend. I don't expect to be online. I'll be back on Wednesday.
