Act VI The Tower of Devral
Re: Act VI The Tower of Devral
Halo will nod at the red sphere and continue to to the fourth level. "Nice griffon there. Terrible weather we are having eh Trotts! Have you brushed your teeth recently?"

Re: Act VI The Tower of Devral
Halo chats about the rooms surroundings while also commenting on Trotters breath. He continues floating up as the orb approaches and then notices that the hole up to the next floor has a closed trapdoor installed.
From this height the halflings can now see a circle of letters etched into the floor that are surrounding the glass griffon.
Mira tries talking with the floating sphere but gets no reply from it. It just floats in the air nearby to her.
She decides to follow the hobbits and enters the third floor, now seeing the beautiful life sized glass griffon with her own eyes. Again, the view of the valley below is stunning through the clear walls of this floor.
Morgi begins flying the others up to the second floor, one at a time, with his ring's flight ability. He starts the tediously slow task with Xano if she is so willing.
Wyntar asks about the others while he waits his turn, clearly trying to *#€% with Xano's mind.

Re: Act VI The Tower of Devral
Trotter replies, No need to brush my teeth: the pipe smoke covers the smell, don't you think? If you need a break, you can set me down somewhere on this level, I think.
Re: Act VI The Tower of Devral
Halo will try and read what the letters around the griffon say. If there is a ledge on this level, the halfling paladin will move to the ceiling and ask trotter to pull the pair of them across to the ledge.

Mira continues her upward pace.

Wyntar
I will also be requiring assistance to get to the next levels of this beautifully crafted tower. I will wait patiently.

Blodget, halfling thief:
"Th-th-th-thank you!" Blodget said to his rescuers. "AH-CHOO!"
Later, he admires the crystal griffon, and the view outside, with awe and wonder.
"Is, is the gryphon a statue? ...or a real creature?"

Re: Act VI The Tower of Devral
The levitators are thrown by the closed trap door and decide to stay in the room with the glass griffon. Halo tries to read the words written in the circle surrounding the thing but cannot tell why they mean.
Mira enters the third floor level and she finds that she can actually read the magical words.
The circle surrounding the glass griffon appears as a web of fine silvery threads within the translucent floor. The words Dumo, Emla, Imfa, Flas, and Glis are written in the magical script and are evenly spaced around the circle.
Morgi continues to ferry the non fliers and the group reconvenes here together on the third floor. Blodget inquiries about the statue being real but it looks to be made out of glass and not moving.
The red and yellow sphere on this floor continues to hover harmlessly nearby.

Xano- Sees the Crystal Gryphon Thank you Morgi. Is this another trap? I do not think we will survive a fight with that. What do these words mean on the floor?

Wyntar
I believe it is a wiser choice to not speak these words aloud. We have seen many fantastical creatures along the way on this mission. This majestic animal might be statuesque for now, but laying in wait for someone to unknowingly awaken it!

Blodget, halfling thief:
The foolish young hobbit's eyes widened at the words of Mister Wynter sir, and he backed away from the glass gryphon.
Blodget was about to ask again for a magical, warm breeze to dry his soaking garments, but then thought better of it. Mighty wizards probably had more important things to do.

Names, Mira acknowledges Wyntar's observation. They are names. Whose or why I cannot fathom, but I agree they must not be uttered, unless dire circumstances call for drastic measures.

Re: Act VI The Tower of Devral
The party gathers on the third floor, enjoying the elevated view through the clear walls of the tower on this level.
The majestic glass griffon stands as silent as the orb floating nearby.
Mira guesses that the words on the floor are names and agrees with Wyntar's warning not to utter any of them out loud.
Blodget slowly backs away with his curious eyes widening.
Halo sets Trotter down and floats to investigate the wooden door leading up to the next level. It looks to be nothing more than a simple hatch that swings up to open. He sees no traps and there is no lock.

Blodget, halfling thief:
The foolish young hobbit nods emphatically at Miss Xano's advice, placing his hand firmly on his hilt, as if to prevent the sword from unsheathing of its own volition. He looks around to see how he might be able to follow the great heroes up through the trapdoor.
