Re: OOC Discussion
Sorry, MonkeyWrench, but I took those spell abilities off the Drow abilities when the original player rolled up Iluq.

Welcome to the group!

Re: OOC Discussion
Three clerics (well, once Iluq revives)! Surely nothing bad can happen to you now, right?
Or maybe this just means you're finally strong enough for me to unleash the real nasties.

Re: OOC Discussion
I'm going to change the critical hit and miss rules. From now on, a critical hit does maximum damage. If you happen to roll a critical hit and max damage, the hit does double damage (before adding bonuses). Critical misses will do something bad, usually involving loss of the next round's attack (e.g., dropped weapons).
The "free second attack" rule was frequently anti-climactic, and often slowed things down because I'd ask people to roll again. This should be more consistently beneficial and quicker.

Re: OOC Discussion
I have not played very many clerics. Am I able to continue the chant while attacking? And do we need to roll a new initiative?
Current Characters/Games
Re: OOC Discussion
I roll initiative. It makes it easier for me to prep the combat while I wait for player posts.
A chanting cleric can't attack (or do anything else, other then move around) while chanting.
