You would still need the verbal components. the rune becomes the material and somatic components, but if the spell needs verbal components, you'd still need the spell requirements.

I'd be like a fighter picking up cobwebs or a ball of wax and sulfur, trying to cast fireball.. he'd need to know the spells verbal components.
NOW< the exception to it would be the spell Contingency :)

If a wizard who somehow knew how to read Runic symbols.. saw he found an already carved fireball rune..and he knew the spell already.. YES he could use the rune to cast fireball ( goes back to having a dwarf sweatshop)

LOL

I just had an image of Trarth watching the others collecting crime scene evidence, then turning to Fonklin.

I guess with the clues gathered, we'll have..
*Puts sunglasses on*

Ive narrowed it down to either escaped zoo animals, a crazed Druid or a Narnia attack.

I think it's easier in most cases to put them in RP and makes the most sense. But I will do it the way Shonuff wants.

So how do you want it Shonuff?

I second zoo animals, except I bet they are the visiting circus with the festival in town.

lol

either is fine... i made the "die rolls" because others had a thread for them..
in the RP thread is fine...

i just didn't want the RP story overshadowed by die rolls.

but yeah we can streamline this..

Also..
something else... i am thinking of putting people's character sheets in separate threads..
so anything i need to tell your character separately...i can just put it in that thread...

I'm going to be out of town again this next week, so my posts may be slower. I'll do my best to check in every evening before midnight.
