You folks familiar with Hacktastic d/20 at all? Or the new game Breachworld aka Rifts d6.

I stopped gaming in 1989. Since I've come back a few years ago, it's only been the old school games. So I'm not up on the new stuff, though I have the various free retro-clones, AS&SH, some DCC stuff and of course Carcosa.

I'm thinking on Blood Skald's song.

Hey, I am off way more than I am on. I am the last person to ever ever complain about posting rates. Life does what it does. I hope Merc is well. That is more important than a game. Thanks for being cool and helpful as usual Al

Hope you guys do not mind waiting for Merc a bit. If worse comes to worse I got it covered. In the meantime, I am working on a space D&d game blending Humanspace Empires, X Plorers and Hulks and Horrors stealing from Rad Astra, Doctor Who, Star Trek, Star Wars, Barbarella, Kill 6 Billion Demons, Rifts, and just about everything else. I hope you would join me for that ride once it lifts off, if it is up your alley.

Though I don't recognize most of those references, it sounds intriguing. I am a science fiction fan though more of the classic stuff.

The game verse does draw from retro sci fi tropes, but also modern tropes from Shadowrun - Corporate dystopia ala Neromancer and Snow Crash, Transhumanism from Eclipse Phase and other junk.

Exchanged a message with Merc. He had been out due to a job change and will be out longer. I will Npc him a bit as we March forward.

shit is fixed finally we have water again and are broke - was expensive. Will see what I can muster this week. I am tired and my head hurts. Hope things are better with all of you.
