Azir and Knight Light combine to break through the vault door. Inside are six more hostages including the Bank Manager, 3 Bank Employees and 2 Bank Patrons. Knight Light has no problems recognizing the two patrons as his mother and Perry.

Eclipse stops his deactivation plan and lets the new comer Sidestep teleport the bomb away. This looks like his are looking into a haze for a few moments and then he and the bomb disappears with 22 seconds remaining.

Grimm and Umbra remain guarding the prisoners, Wind Dragon waiting to hear if he can send in the authorities.

"I'm not sure this is over, it seems too easy. We have six civilians that need to be turned over to the police, we're bringing them out now," Knight Light said over comms. Keeping his Danger Sense active, KL helped usher the vault prisoners out to the waiting police.

Sidestep

Once Sidestep appears in the bottom of the quarry. He will ensure that no one is around that would be endangered by the bomb. If it is indeed clear he will teleport up to the ridge of the quarry. Well out of the normal line of sight to keep watch until the timer runs down.

With the bomb and Sidestep disappearing the red glow has left the building. There is a momentary standstill with no bomb in the building but everyone waiting for the next shoe to drop. One person not waiting is Knight Light that tries to get the hostages out, but given how slow they are compared to the Crusaders they are not able to get out of the building until about the time that the bomb would have gone off. At least it seems that you avoided the blast and that Sidestep's plan was the answer, but suddenly there is a loud explosion like sound coming from the southwest of the city. Was this the location that Sidestep took the bomb? What this as some others implied the other shoe dropping?

Knight Light

Sheilding the civilians as best he could, Knight Light helped them get out safely, and into the arms of family and authorities. Then he went back in with the LEO, protecting them if necessary, and guiding them to the prisoners.

Keeping Danger Sense going. This really only takes him up to the last DM post, so he will wait for infomation from CHiP/McGinley, or direction from Azir.

Advancing this forward what would be several combat actions

Grimm continues watch the prisoners.

Knight Light stays with the former vault hostages.

Wind Dragon is working to get the police units to make it over to the bank area and reports "Several units and an ambulance and Stronghold van on the way."

Eclipse and Umbra attempt to gain some altitude to see if they can get a view over the high rise buildings. You can see a black smoke rising from something in the far distance.

CHiP comes out over the comms, "Agent McGinley is trying to get some details. The quarry that Sidestep was taking the bomb to was to the south of your current position. What is the direction of the explosion?" (For the record it was to the southwest)

Still nothing from Sidestep however.

Azir and Eclipse are trying to get high enough to get a clear view of the explosion. Even from the roof (which they are on now) the distance is to far, you are sure it is over 30 miles away.

Wind Dragon is heading back with the police. Knight Light is with the hostages and calls back to Grimm that he has to wait on the police or the agents will run.

About this time, Sidestep returns without the explosive device into the room from which he teleported. The room is currently dark and empty.

Agent McGinley comes back on the comms, "It appears that the explosion was somewhere near Joliet, Illinois. Perhaps 45 miles to the Southwest of your current location. There is nothing there worth bombing it does not make sense?"
