"I think many men would be intimidated by you. John Lee proves that you are attractive by some men's standards. I think we are both fortunate in that two extraordinary men have chosen us."

Sigrun nods and shrugs “Ja, I thought that was it. In jump I got bored waiting for Rangle to try something. So I walked about seemingly unarmed and with my hair unbound, smiled at him, wore inappropriate training gear, bent over a lot – nothing. However, he had seen me take my axe to the punch bag - he was annoying me. I had a lot of aggression that day - wolf dreams. It is good to let it out, no? We should charge that bag to LSP”.

Sigrun grins "I swear I will not shout or bang on the sides of the ice boxes as you bring them round. I recall that we agreed that was an inappropriate and ineffective treatment method".

(OOC: I assume Sigrun is ignorant of the LSP mercs at this stage. She is, however, shady enough to recognise merc/military tattoos and some other military "tells" by dint of her previous experience and Streetwise/Recon. Zaki may have a similarly direct frame of reference. Beyond that defrosting one shaven headed, tattooed gym bunny might raise an eyebrow but when they just keep on coming and add up to a full fire team ... ).

"We did agree about that, yes," Zaki chuckles. "I think you could have exercised nude, and Rangle wouldn't have bothered you. Not out of a lack of attraction, but out of sheer, howling terror."

The four hour trip into Jenghe is pretty uneventful. Sir Edwardo is on the comm talking about commercial things. Sir Baltus has his chat with Strewth about LSP things.

Pedro watches the feed from Jenghe keeping an eye on the weather. There are five big storms floating around in the vast oceans that make up Jenghe's surface. One does look like it is headed right at the island where the Starport is located. Sthe ship should land in fair and pleasent weather, but it'll start going downhill pretty quickly after the ship is down.

As the Connie Malone reaches Jenghe orbit Traffic Control gives you clearance to come right down and the ship descends quickly passing over the eye of the swirling cyclone. You are high enough so you don't experience any of the bad weather, but you certainly can see it.

Once the ship lands on the tarmac of the small port you find a pair of ground vehicles waiting for you. A pair of men in Port Authority uniforms step from a pick up style truck and are joined by a tall woman in civies who steps off a bus like vehicle. The trio walk toward the ship.

Carlos secures and locks the nav board. "All good, Skipper. Any one we can walk away from." He keys the intercom. "All passengers, this is the XO. Welcome to Jenghe. Be advised that the atmosphere is thick and you WILL need a filter mask here. We will expedite your disembark shortly, as soon as we reach the parkbay. Thank you for flying with us on Connie Malone. Cargo crew, stand by to offload once the passengers are off." He toggles the intercom back to Engineering. "Chief, stand by to go to shore power once they hook us up."

She doesn’t speak to Rangle but treats him to her best brooding malevolence and is clearly more than happy to roll his unconscious form off the ramp by way of disembarkation should he give her an excuse.

Once Rangle is off the ship she sets to assisting Zaki with reviving the Low Berth passengers.

Jasmine's expression turns from neutral pleasant to a frown and back again almost too fast to see...but both Baltus and Sigrun see.

"I've got an action team aboard traveling low." Rangle continues to call out, "They'll be down as soon as the ship's medic finishes with them."

This brings frowns to the faces of other two members of the trio, the ones wearing wearing Port Authority uniforms.

"Welcome to Jenghe Station Sir Baltus." Jasmine says holding out her hand to shake his hand as he moves down the gangway to the ground.

"And hello to you too Mister Rangle." she adds although she doesn't offer her hand to him as he crowds down the gangway behind Baltus.

The Port Captain nods to Sir Baltus, but looks up the gangway to see who of the ship's crew has come out to meet him saving his greeting for whoever that is.

On overhearing Rangle's comments Sigrun keys her (shipboard crew) comm and humourlessly comments “That turd Rangle is off the ship. Newsflash: we carried a corporate kill team here and are therefore accessories to any murders they commit on Jenghe. Supplementary: Corporations are effectively immune to Imperial Law and can kill whoever they like so we’re in the clear! There’s no need for any immediate concern they’ll be entirely well behaved - at least while on board”.

She keys he comm again switching onto Pedro’s personal channel

“Bosmang kapawu any beltalowda radio traffic? The kill team won’t be here for LSP employees. We should at least warn them”.

Pedro receives Sigrun's comm message. Yes, there are a number of belter stations out in the broad belts...at least there appear to be based on the open radio traffic he, Edwardo and Carlos picked up on the bridge on the way in. There is probably 10 times as much narrow beam comm going on out there, but you couldn't pick any of that up. There are a couple of radio sources that are identified as LSP stations, but all the others appear to be local and independent.

"Captain Peterson." says the Port Captain indicating the man next to him, "My XO James Szanka. Let's leave the Ling folks to get on with their business. Might we step aboard and deal with our business?"

Once the Port Authorities follow you aboard, or at least move out of the LSP people's presence, Captain Peterson sighs and says,"The Ling people have much too much authority here on Jenghe, I'd just as soon keep Port Authority business out of their direct pervue, if you don't mind."

"Assuming you aren't Ling yourselves."he adds with a smile.

"We need to move your ship behind a berm and get it covered as soon as you can drop your passengers."says Szanka, "Big storm coming in and nobody is going to want to be out in the open for the next 24 hours. As for business, nobody is going to be doing much until the storm passes and for the next day or so there might be a lot of clean up, so..."

"So, I'm afraid you're going to be stuck here for a few days without much you can do other than by comm." Captain Peterson finishes.

Sigrun approaches the Port Authority officers talking to Carlos and Zaki and introduces herself “Sigrun Volsung, innocent bystander. Kapiten Peterson should we really ride this storm out on the ground? We’d surely be safer in orbit?"

She continues "It’s now none of my business but the people debarking from our Low Berths are military – a Ling “action team”. Their leader, Rangle, is unpleasant company for a week in jump. If you are local law enforcement you will find yourself picking up the pieces of whichever civilian targets they are employed against. Not my problem - just thought to give you a heads up".

"For what it's worth even the Ling people don't seem to like Rangle. The officer talking to Sir Baltus was hardly pleased to see him".

"So, I'm afraid you're going to be stuck here for a few days without much you can do other than by comm." Captain Peterson finishes.

Zaki shoots a glance and a small smile at Carlos, and then she returns her attention to the conversation.
