I'm going to give a couple of folks until tommorrow before I make my next summary post. Thanks everyone for jumping in and making excelent initial posts. I loved them all. Great stuff so far.

I wanted to get a post in today but I had a hectic day at work and now I have to help a dude move. I will make a summary post in the morning though. There was another fella that I was waiting on, he had started his character but then fell off the map, so I'm going to move on. If he shows up again we'll just work him in.

I am currently finishing up the map for Þorlákshöfn. I should have it posted by tonight.


FlightlessScotsman: You snuck a post in just as I was getting ready to make my summary post. So I added your actions to the summary post

I apologize for the crude nature of my Þorlákshöfn map. I wanted to get it done so you'd have a better visual and so didn't tackle the time to give it any nice details.

As you can see I am adding in a bit of Icelandic phrases and words here and there to add to the feel of being in a strange place. I have and will continue to add translations at the bottom of the posts and in the Background, Persons, Places, Things thread. I'm assuming it will take a few weeks for everyone to settle into their characters, with each other, and my DM'ing style.

I hope everyone enjoys what and how I am attempting present this campaign, if not please let me know and I will attempt to adjust accordingly.

FlightlessScotsman will be in and out for the next week or so. I will try and wait for him to make his posts so he doesn't get behind, plus it will give me a chance to get ahead on the campaign. I am going to make a summary post later tonight.

Thanks for being patient folks. Moving and trying to get my house ready to list for sale has proved to be pretty time consuming.

I'm going to give FlightlessScotsman until later this evening to post and then I'll make a summary post. I don't think he will miss out on too much at this point and he is most likely to accept the Viking's offer.

So. We have lost the FlightlessScotsman due to life's many subborn nuances, not to mention it's terrible dissinterest in our overly obsesssive attention to all things D&D. I am sad to see him go and hope that he can come bac to us soon. I will be keeping his character as an NPC and he is always welcome to come back and join us at any time.

We will also be getting a new character soon from user FantasyChic. She has PM'd me and is currently working on her character. As soon as she has that complete I will work her into the story.

As far as posting frequency, with the FlightlessScotsman out, I think we will move toward a daily posting rate. There may be a day here and there during the week that I miss though. School and work are working me over right now so some days are pretty rough on me. I will do my best to keep up though.

As always, if anyone has questions or comments please shout them out.
