Niles still very unsure will cautiously step up by Foracor not drawing his sword but on the ready.

Albertus, casting detect evil on the older woman, stays his position near the wagon.

Razmus, fingers ready for action, inches his horse a little forward and between his companions so he may get a clear shot.

The monster hut squats and shytes out a prodigious pile of excrement. The smell wafts in the breeze.

The old woman puts a spyglass to her eye and looks the wagon and adventurers over. She waves abstractly over her shoulder. A raven takes flight from somewhere on the roof and flies straight to the group. It circles then swoops down to land. It is 20' away to the left of the wagon.

"Baba Yaga invites the meatiest of you to dinner," quothe the raven.

Well, it was nice adventuring with all of you.

What, if anything, are the princess and her guards doing? Does the princess have any insight on this one?

Foracor

Having been ignored, Foracor and dog take a wide swath and begin to move around the hut, toward the back -- out of bird leg range.

To Niles he says, she's from my homeland and is very powerful. I seem to recall that she enjoys eating fey creatures . . . I'm moving on.

[OGRE MAGE]

Well, I guess that's you Wulfie! So long!

Razmus is ready to either fight or run, but he continues staring at the chicken coop on legs. "Interesting how she discards waste. She must simply dump it all over the place as her house walks... much like a bird in mid flight. I never cared for those wretched creatures."

Boddin starts to step forward, then stops when he realizes the old lady said, "meat," not "mead." He keeps his bow ready for whatever might happen.

Niles is at a loss for words but stands ready.

Is there a way around this thing? i'm with the group but maybe we should avoid this if possible.

Avoid? That might be tough being that she is talking to us at the moment. I don't think we can run away either what with the princess and all. I think we should just let Wulfie talk to her.

She sent her bird. Baba Yaga is still on her porch 100 yards away to the left side of the road the party is on. She looked at you through a spyglass. You can certainly keep driving on.

Princess Targarayen looks out the window with some concern.



"By the Seven Gods what is that?!" she exclaims. Hearing the bird request the meatiest of the group, she says: "Someone leave a horse, and let's be on our way quickly!"

Oh, sorry. I thought the house was blocking the road for some reason.

Fingal

Fingal will quickly grab up his gear from off of his horse and lead the animal to the spot in front of the raven.
Here you go then. The very meatiest of our group. he turns to the rest of the group that hasn't already moved on Lets go.....Now!
If he is allowed, he will jump into the carriage with the princess. Otherwise, he will catch a ride with Niles.

Razmus gives Fingol a narrow-eyed look as he mentions that he should be the one to go talk to a walking house. He would have said something icy, but the princess had stepped in with some good advice, so he left the stinging comment on his tongue and begins moving his horse forward with the group. He watches the house carefully, not daring to trust that it will simply let them pass.

Foracor

Foracor positions himself behind the Baba Yaga and begins to wonder how such a thing could be defeated.

He awaits the passage of the party.

Out of the Baba's way. Move out.

He urges his friends.

Wulfhart, barbarian, the other white meat

"I'll not be dinner!" huffs the northern fighter. He prods his horse on.

Niles staying with the group lets try and get around this thing if we can

Razmus mutters under his breath as he pushes forward, "I don't know what's worse - hobgoblins or walking chicken coops."

Staying close to the wagon, Albertus maintains his readies. He has come too far and seen too much to die by the likes of this oddity.
