You guys are doing great. This is a 'work in progress'. I am open to suggestions to make it better.

I may be starting a Gamma World/Mutant Future game soon also. Check the Looking for Players section.

I didn't even see it until you told me & already posted mine. Duh...ybn1197 wrote:I have been too. Check the "End of the World as We Know It" thread.
If yours takes off , I'm gonna delay mine. I think there is a limited pool of Post-Apoc players, no sense competing. Fantasy seems the most popular. Perhaps I'll do another Labyrinth Lord Game.
I may try Expedition in GW/MF.

Re: OOC CHAT
These games don't have a concrete end like a fantasy adventure. Example: Loot the dungeon and kill the main bad guy.
This game will go on until you reach "safety" or you die. Either individually or as a group.
If I do this game again at a later date (very likely) survivors will be in it.

Chingy is good with that.
He has his bat at the ready.

I'm good.
Any chance that Lester has one of these in his shop? Its a valid request as they are used along with a mallet to remove larger sized tires from the rim.

No, but he has several small hammers and a few larger, even a sledge hammer. This is a backwoods operation.ybn1197 wrote:I'm good.

Re: OOC CHAT
I think Lester should get out of the vehicle first and approach the house, as he knows the person who owned it. The owner may or may not be in there, but I think he would be better to have approach whoever may be inside than some of our group.
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

I completely agree once we know the surrounding area is safe.
Re: OOC CHAT
Uncle Lester
Lester nods in agreement at the suggestion. "Yeah, the Wilkins' know me, so hopefully they don't try and shoot me or something. When we pull up, let me try to talk to em' before we all start coming up to their place. We don't want to scare em." Lester rolls his eyes and says "Oh, but if you see em' come out and try to bite my face off or something, then please fellas, come help this old guy out, eh?"
OOC: So I guess that we roll out as discussed, and we make sure that the door closes behind us safely with no biters entering. Then we carefully go to the Wilkins. We'll pull up and Lester will go to the door to say hello. I think if the people are alive, the sight of a bunch of strangers approaching may scare them, rather Lester will (assuming they survive) tell them that he's come to check on them and see if they want to come with us to find others (probably better than saying "Hey, we've come to loot your residence") and if they don't, we leave. Lester won't take part in attacking them without provocation, after all they are his neighbors.
But if Lester knocks and biters come out, please help the old dude out, eh? Let's go!!!
