Why do we put rolls in spoilers?

The Doctor either stayed in the suite with Elusev, mayhaps to help get his armor on or followed the others into suite 1.

The Doctor:
I had him gather his things from whatever room he was in and go off seeking the rest of the party per an earlier post.

Arn:
If the goblin holding the woman doesn't get skewered by Procyon's javelin, Arn will attempt to stall for time until more people can crowd in on the room, or until someone can kill him from a distance.
Keeping the wounded goblin pressed back with his shield, he points his sword out to the goblin holding the woman and demands his surrender.
'What's all this, then?! Back and surrender yourselves, pitiful creatures! Your comrades are all dead, and unless you put down weapons you'll have your own! Now!—release that woman, before I release your heads!'

Baldo 'Jenks' Jenkin:
Jenks remains in the corridor - out of the fighters' way. He whispers to whoever is near
"How about we offer them gold to leave them alone and then once we have the humans safe, take care of the gobbos permanently...and get the gold back?"

Dungeon Master:
The Newfoundland dog would be in the suite barking & growling at the goblin holding the knife to the lady master's throat.
I will do a D6 roll on if there is a visible tree or shrub just outside the window:
1-3 (no vegetation) 4-6(vegetation): [1d6] = 6
Tree [1-2] or Shrub [3-4]: [1d4] = 2
So yes there is a tree visible from the window, it is beyond the horse post on that side.
Procyon's javelin embeds into the front wall.

Procyon:
Could we possibly zoom in within the map? Perhaps magnify the map, and than paste our images into them? I also cannot see the women. Was my javelin a narrow miss? XD
====================
Dungeon Master:
Next Player Map update of the Suite 1 Goblin Battle i will enlarge it some more!

Dungeon Master:
I did actually double the map size before putting the player & goblin avatars on the map!
I left out the couple in suite one on purpose, the woman is on the bed, her husband on the floor say, near center of room.
I can make the map bigger.
Yea, it was a narrow miss which could have hit the woman, especially if it was a critical miss!

ooc...So, Hemlocks action, see other post above this one, will take place. I will let you describe what the tree is able to do to goblin closest the woman. Wanted it to smash through the window and grab the goblin while holding it upside down in the air.PyroArrow wrote:Dungeon Master:

Dungeon Master:
Ok, the tree trunk is approximately 35 ft from the window.
The range of the spell is 80 ft. So it could enter 45 ft into the suite.
The Entangle spell itself will take 3 segments (18 seconds) for Hemlocks, to cast.
Let's move onto the 2nd segment of round 1.
Procyon & Arn are already in the room & if Hemlocks chooses to go ahead with the Entangle spell, he is prepping it outside the room
The Goblins in the suite respond to Arn's,
'What's all this, then?! Back and surrender yourselves, pitiful creatures! Your comrades are all dead, and unless you put down weapons you'll have your own! Now!—release that woman, before I release your heads!'
All 3 goblins look at Arn not understanding him.
Jenks says to the players,
"How about we offer them gold to leave them alone and then once we have the humans safe, take care of the gobbos permanently...and get the gold back?"
Jenks & Teladrin know Goblin speak.
The Goblins hold their ground at the moment, while the one goblin still holds a knife to the woman's throat.
That Goblin says something in goblin only Jenks & Teladrin would understand.

If able to find room to help with the goblin will whack it with his bo stick.
Bo Stick [1d20] = 18 to Hit [1d6] = 6 s/m dmg [1d3] = 3 lrg dmg

Cayley:
After finishing donning her armor and getting the prisoner securely stashed, she will pick up the torch and turn to Trireann, "So shall we see what is going on outside?"
[Whenever we get the two parties in sync. Just hope we don't step into the entangling tree. ]

Arn:
Arn, not wanting to attack the goblin in case he kills the woman—and being too much of a goody-goody to promise them free passage in exchange for the woman and then capturing or killing
them anyway—attempts to continue stalling until the craftier party members can do something to bring them a decided advantage.
He points to the goblin's dagger with his sword and then points to the ground, trying to communicate that he is demanding the goblin drop its weapon.
'Can anyone tell it to drop the weapon? Jenks has right, I doubt we can bargain, just fight or prey on their cowardice and demand they surrender.'
Right. After we could overhear what they were saying in the room, I assumed we could understand them because they were speaking Common, and didn't notice the last part that said, 'in Goblin speak'!PyroArrow wrote:Dungeon Master:All 3 goblins look at Arn not understanding him.

Jenks & Teladrin understood though & so just assume they informed the party of what was said.
It appears the party will try to stall long enough for Hemlocks to cast his Entangle spell.
That is an Opps! on my part there, as when i was dogsitting, I could not get on the net at all, then it was a sporadic WiFi connection when i finally got the password/wepkey, so i was in a rush to get something posted!Right. Elusev:
After getting all of his gear equipped and ready Elusev will head out into the hall way, seeing that everyone is near the doorway of the room, yelling and talking to each other. Elusev will then approach the group, Bow in hand, "Whats the update?" If there is enough room he will look inside the suite at the commotion.
