The Mind replies favorably to the professor's request as two honor guard gorillas approach the supers and start to escort them out. "We shall maintain a mental connection for as long as you stay here. When you are ready to leave, just think it, and it will be so."

Once in the garden, the Professor takes out his cell phone and begins taking snaps of the stella. He begins to babble about the implications of some of the pictograms represented, but he can't sustain it. His mind keeps returning to the threat of the inchorite.
"Well then, that should do it, I think. I could spend years here, making an exhaustive survey, but it is not to be. Back to the mainland, eh, Maximillian?"
The Professor pockets the camera and mentally signals the guards that they are ready to depart.

The two close their eyes and mentally depict the main lobby of the Arikas HQ building. When they open them, they find themselves there, instantaneously! How this feat was accomplished, neither of them quite know. There sudden entrance spooks a few people around them, but after a few moments of waiting, they go back to their usual routine, almost as if they are used to the strange in this world of supers.
Looking outside, it is about midday. You calculate that you have only been away for about a day's time. There is something strange about the weather though. It is late April and there is.... snow, falling on the ground. A light powdering. Very unusual weather for mid spring on the eastern coast of the US....
This arc will end, and merge with a new thread that I will be making. You will be sharing it with another group of players. Keep your eyes open.
