Re: Chapter 01: Not like any pub you remember
Tiny
Realizing he is getting no support from his fellow prisoners Tiny starts backing slowly away towards the secret door. If any decide to advance on him he strikes at them with the sword.
If needed attack roll.
Two-Handed Sword [1d20+3] = 4+3 = 7 to hit [1d10+6] = 1+6 = 7 damage

Re: Chapter 01: Not like any pub you remember
Thorelf enters the guard room, sees Tiny's troubles and the desperately tries to see where Korin went. Last thing Thorelf can remember, Korin was searching the walls for a secret opening, maybe he found one?

Korin stops and taps Eaton "Alright let's turn back eh? Ya persuaded me. Tiny might need help."

Re: Chapter 01: Not like any pub you remember
Thorelf does indeed clearly see an opening in the wall near the corner to the right of the double doors where Tiny is fighting; he guesstimates that this is where Korin - and probably also Eaton - went in.Last thing Thorelf can remember, Korin was searching the walls for a secret opening, maybe he found one?

Korin, I am quite surprised that you want to turn now.
But wait, it must be a sign from the gods. I as a vessel, from the gods have convinced you.
I see it as a sign that the gods have chosen the path of war and that I soon will find my Morningstar.
Let’s go back!

Re: Chapter 01: Not like any pub you remember
The armed guards, upon noticing Tiny backing off while waving his megasword about, change their minds. The blood-spattered fighteress shouts "He's outnumbered - get him!" and they clamber forward, stepping over the decapitated gnome. At least three guards pour into the jailer's room at exactly the same moment as Eaton comes rushing out of the secret passage, colliding with Thorelf on his way in <thump!>. Realising that Tiny was not alone after all, causes the pursuers to experience a somewhat negative 'aha moment'.
Therefore:
Thorelf - roll surprise!
Eaton - roll surprise!
(Korin has not yet exited the passage when this happens)

Korin will press forward but not so as to be in a rush and accidentally run into someone.

If Tiny hears the commotion behind him he will stop backing up and hold his ground.

Re: Chapter 01: Not like any pub you remember
See what ? Please clarify, thanks. Will not Eaton see this quite clearly since the passage is quite small?
Re: Chapter 01: Not like any pub you remember
Not to meddle, but I guess he means "how can Eaton even be surprised when I Eaton should see Thorelf clearly due to the narrowness of the passge?"
I guess you can be surprised for different reasons...

Re: Chapter 01: Not like any pub you remember
Eaton
is surprised by both the fact that as he was running out of the narrow passage, he met Thorelf running into it, and by the fact that the jailer's room is now full of angry fighting people he has never encountered before.
Thorelf
was caught slightly less unaware, as he already had seen the opponent(s) Tiny was fighting.
The attackers
Adversary d6 roll [1d6] = 3
win partial surprise and use the gained segments to fill the room and go for Tiny who now makes up the line of defense, (as both Eaton, Thorelf and Korin are in the passage or its opening). They are:
* A blood-spattered female warrior wielding a sword
* A male warrior also brandishing a sword
* A bald man in brown hooded robe, mace ready
it is not clear if there is anyone else behind them out in the cell corridor.
The male warrior lashes out against Tiny: Sword, long: to hit [1d20] = 4, Damage S/M [1d8] = 5 L [1d12] = 9
while the hooded man starts mumbling the name of some heathen abomination.
Actions!

Shouts! You tiny creatures have made the mighty god Uthgar mad. I am the power of the god. If you don’t run away now the mighty power of Uthgar will get you all! Klov got it. You are next. Flee and save your self!
[1d20] = 11
If there is a bonus for charisma 15 please ad It to the roll of 11.
Then runs towards the unholy bald man with his rope ready to tackle him to the ground.
