Ox and Korin both walk straight into the wall on the left, suffering minor facial cuts.

Re: Chapter 05: The depths of despair
Jacob follows suit with the others, making sure to pick his dagger up from the floor and pocket it again inside his sleeve. He will be checking for traps on the floor, walls, and ceiling as they go. As well as listening for any noises while they make there way.
Life is a roller coaster, if you don't stop to enjoy it then you may as well not even ride.

The party chooses the corridor turning away from 'barricaded roon'. Jacob, now familiar with this part of the passage, easily searches it again and, like last time, finds no traps along the part of the corridor that leads to the T intersection.

Re: Chapter 05: The depths of despair
The floor 'beyond' the intersection is a few inches higher, so there's a small step up at the intersection. There is no noise to be heard at the actual intersection. Korin - as before - sees two doors, one to the left, one to the right of the intersection:

Everyone is now - once again - cramped into a 20' passage between two T intersections as it were.DM to himself: Wonder if anyone is getting a nagging feeling of Deja vu ? Mwwwoahahahahahh

Re: Chapter 05: The depths of despair
Korin "We've been ere before." Korin walks over to the two doors and tries to detect noise at both pressing his ear to the door to listen.

Re: Chapter 05: The depths of despair
Korin was not able to detect any sounds behind either door.
There is a slight draft coming from the left door. There is a dank, mouldy smell in the air, intermixed with a hint of the smell of dogs.
Norbold whispers: "What can you hear?"

Jacob will head over to the left door, placing his head against the door and listening for any sounds or movement that may be the origin of the smells they are experiencing.

Re: Chapter 05: The depths of despair
Although Jacob manages to concentrate his listening efforts a bit better, he unfortunately also is not able to detect any sounds behind the left door.
Norbold, suddenly thinking someone unknown has suddenly appeared among them, worriedly looks at the person who just spoke: "Ox, is that you ?"Krakus- Not me.

Re: Chapter 05: The depths of despair
I think our Dram is mixing up his character names. It happens trust me I posted as Korin in a different game a couple times. I confuse me dwarves up sometimes
Korin "alright it smells a bit foul over here I saw we open yer door Jacob. Less ya wanna fight more o em dogs."

Re: Chapter 05: The depths of despair
1. It was when listening at the left door that Korin felt a draught that carried faint smells of dog.
2.
2.

Re: Chapter 05: The depths of despair
Right I thought Jacob was at the non dog smell door still while Korin was still at the one that smells of dog.

Re: Chapter 05: The depths of despair
Recap.
The party has, after killing off/chasing away a reasonably large group of goblins, followed their trail down some passages that they have been through before.
After having checked the area for traps, the group is standing at a 'T' junction, with closed doors to the left and right.
Norbold, still uneasy after having digested a mystery potion that both makes him feel vigorous and linguistically challenged, is understandably startled when he hears Ox speaking under a different name.
Korin has listened at both doors without results; Jacob at the left one, also without results. A faint draft comes from the left door, somewhat tinted with a vague canine whiff.
