Old School Essentials. A retro-clone that is basically the B/X rules put into an easier to read and understand format, updated layout for readability, and clarifying some of those pesky issues that were found in the original rule set. Necrotic Gnome is the creator of OSE and has a fairly big following.

TK, can you just clarify:

In answer to one of Feargus's questions one of the shadow glanced towards a particular house. Do we all know this or just Feargus?

Feargus noticed it. It's up to him if he shares it with you, but my assumption is that anything I post IC will be open character knowledge.

So I am confusing my versions... Will Haste age people in B/X? I see no obvious language, but was thinking about getting the crew's speed going!

I'm confused to where we are getting the druid spells from. There are no druid spells in the OSE document, that why I thought we were using LL AEC for them.

Is there an OSE supplement that you are using that I'm unaware of?

Oh, shoot. Yeah, there's an OSE supplement with druid and illusionist spells. Uh, let's see what I can do in a bit to get them to you.

No worries, I think I've found it on drivethrurpg, for the price they want I'm happy to cough up for a copy, thanks tho.

I also noticed v1. 2 of the main rules has been put for a while.

There are less druid spells in the OSE vs LL AEC, for 1st and 2nd level 8 vs 11, so I'll be losing ones like detect magic and shillelagh.

We'll still use LL AEC for those. I know it's somewhat confusing, but I'd like to hew as closely as possible to OSE.

I have a question about Detect Danger, can it detect things like a trapped chest, poisoned food, a magical trap or even a cursed magical item?
