Is the plan to wait for Harold to exit and engage him then? Go in and ask him right away? What plans does the group have for Harold? To just show everyone the location, or to keep him there with you (or instead of you?) until the alleged pick-up at midnight?
Wait for him to leave, grab him and hit a secluded shady spot to offer a gift for his aid?

Maybe pretend to rough him up shouting he owes money? Seems people would expect that of him...

I vote roses over thorns. He wants whomever charmed him, so they should ask him alone. The more we are seen everywhere together the more likely we will be screwed up.

Fine. So Petra will wait for him to exit, talk him into scouting out the condemned building well prior to midnight. At least we can get an idea of what's inside and the layout. Then decide the best course of action. Do we find suitable hiding spots around building then Wait and watch? Do we follow if someone actually does Come and go? Do we capture and question?
Petra is intelligent but has no mind for such tactics. Someone with a...seedier background should Come up with a plan for the group?

Well I have a +6 to climb and +6 to stealth. I could perhaps climb up a nearby building to snipe any enemies if they appear. Or I could sneak in with other sneaking folks to look around inside. Heck if it's next to the docks, we could go to the back and listen, perhaps we can hear something on the inside. But I bet they just use the dock to load up slaves to take away....perhaps holding them inside prior to transport. But that is just my idea.

Whatever we do. I think Harold needs to take a long nap someplace out of the way

I think using the dock to transport the slaves is probably a good bet. We won't be able to follow them if this is the case, unless we get a boat of our own...
Let's remember we're not here to free slaves but to find our missing girl...
Securing a boat might be a next best step?

Is someone going in? Who? Now, or later? Something else?

I'll move the action once I have something concrete (or I'll just send Harold in). ;)

If someone sneaky wants to volunteer... not sure I see a need to scout it out knowing the docks are probably their egress point. We need a boat before midnight.

Don't recall the question being asked... But we could gently interrogate him with the application of strong drink while we wait for night.

I love the RP part of the game most but I can get long winded trying to play an intelligent character...

I'm taking a well earned, long awaited vacation this week. I'll still be making posts but maybe not as regularly.

Enjoy, man.

I've added a 'known absences' forum where we can keep track of any time away like that. Can you list the range of dates you'll be on vacation there?

Okay, it's the group prepared to advance to midnight (or thereabouts)?

How do you plan to approach it? Are you going to observe the inn from your room? From the street? From your boat? If not the boat, what is the plan for it? Are you all staying together, or splitting up? Are you keeping Harold with you?

Once I know what you guys are going to do, I'll advance the action.

Also just remembered that Chris is on vacation now, until a week from now: viewtopic.php?p=193867#p193867.

I'm fine if the group wants a temporary slow down during this time (I just don't want it to halt completely if possible).

Ah, I'd forgotten about that, as well.

Yeah, with just the four players, I wouldn't mind waiting a few days.
