Balasar "Ah yes I see well you make a good point it would be improper of us to leave his body to rot in his former domicile. Yes let see what we can do about that and the magic stuff you have located." he shakes his head agreeing with Ruthgar and assist with the things found in the room.spanningtree wrote:Ruthgar:
Ah, Balasar, looks like we have quite a bit of coin and some items of magic here in the chest. I am unsure if we should divvy here or back at the Inn. As for Gustav, I think Hildr should make the call but we might want to take him to the temple of Odin considering his status. Either way, if the watch were to come by right now.... we are new in town and have the body of a long time resident on the floor.... there are a lot of us and one of him... you see where I am going.

Storm moves to clean the room from the battle, using water from his skin and the sages materials (a robe or cloak or what have you)
We should not tally overly long here. he says whilst cleaning.

Xanthe takes the Gauntlets and tries them on. Then she will test to see if she is stronger, if not she will move on to some tests of Dexterity, look for a lock to pick etc. She will go outside and try and climb in the alley etc.
As xanthe slips on the metal gauntlets she feels strength surge through her arms and shoulders then quickly fade away.
it is a fighter only item and as of right now she can't leverage fighter class

some clean up evidence of the battle as best they can while others gather all the new coin and items. What are you decisions on next move?

If we are going to burn the body lets get a move on. We are fairly deep in the city, a carriage might be best. Perhaps if we put a cloak on Gustaf and act drunk we can cover up the fact he is dead. Thoughts?

After all the talking and looking through the chest and counting coin when you exit the room and return to the main area you see the body of Gustaf has changed. it now looks like a aged corpse, withered and gray

yes there is a hearth
Re: Sage Advice
Hildr
Hildr will prepare Gustaf's body and then burn it in the hearth.

Re: Sage Advice
The body is to large for the hearth, but as you spend more time you see it continue to decompose. Within a couple of hours it is nothing but pile of dust
Re: Sage Advice
Storm stares at the dust and sweeps it up into his new pack.
Lest a cleric of some temple come by and use some divination to ascertain the location of the sage. I doubt you will all agree but i suggest we spread a rumour the sage has gone off on some fact finding mission for us, for we will have certainly been seen entering his abode, and as the last people to see him alive no doubt suspicions will fall upon us when Odin clergy note his absence. This is a mess and no mistake.
After that is done the small elf wizard will make time leave and head back to the inn.

Re: Sage Advice
While all this is going on, Phil will utter a prayer thanking Odin for his role in sending the Warden back to Valhalla, and then attempt to use the spear's healing power upon himself. He will then seek out Hildr or Ruthgar, to ask for their healing for Balasar, and then himself, as it appears that we are staying in town for at least the night.

Looks around the room.
Is anyone going to use the Bracers of Shadow Manipulation? I will use them if no other is. Kind of an oddity but may come in handy if used right.

Does anyone need any healing?
There was a city Gustav mentioned, Hildr, the name eludes me but perhaps we head there? Do you recall?
