OK, here's what I've got for tests made that count for advancement (remember that tests made against Ob0 do not count for advancement, like disposition rolls, etc.):

Harlan:
Hunter - 1 pass
Fighter - 1 pass, 1 fail
Health - 3 pass, 2 fail (increase 1 and wipe all tests)
Dungeoneer - 1 fail
Nature - 1 pass
Scavenger - 1 fail
Cooking - 1 pass

Raizenbrayne:
Arcanist - 1 pass
Lore Master - 1 pass, 1 fail
Health - 2 pass, 1 fail
Theologian - 1 beginner's luck
Nature - 1 fail
Cartographer - 1 fail

Agrom:
Hunter - 1 pass, 1 fail
Fighter - 2 pass, 1 fail
Health - 4 pass, 2 fail
Will - 2 fail
Armorer - 1 beginner's luck
Resources - 1 pass
Survivalist - 1 pass

I'll do rewards and inventory updates tomorrow!

Will each of you quote my post of your character sheets and do the bookkeeping on them from now on? I'll make sure they're fully updated today and then we can work from there going forward.

Thanks :)

Also, this is a good time to start discussing the next adventure!
But first, Lifestyle Rolls!

Raiz Ob2
Agrom Ob1
Harlan Ob2

OK I've updated folks' stuff apart from Agrom's inventory--don't know where he posted his most recent setup. :/

Rope and torches were my freebies from the Baron. Leaving my longsword at my parents' house and taking along the Unbroken Blade. I think that's it for me.

Thanks, guys--let me know when you are ready to commit to your Lifestyle rolls.

Agrom Resources test vs Ob1 Lifestyle.

Resources 1 +1d for hometown. Passed!

Resources 2 vs Ob1 Lifestyle [1d6] = 1, [1d6] = 6

Lucky man! Be sure to mark your Resources with a Passed test. That means next time you enter town it will increase by 1 automatically.

Raizenbrayne is making a Resources 0 test against Ob 2 Lifestyle, and will use all 2D of his pay from the baron to grant +2D to the roll:

[1d6] = 3, [1d6] = 6

Failed by 1! Though, I believe I can spend a Fate point to re-roll the 6… Can I ask what you'll lay on my character before I decide whether to spend the Fate point? :D

You're at Resources 0 and it isn't your hometown. I'm going to say that the good commercial folk of the town will be informed not to do business with you should you ever return to Estwatch, and you'll have to make some sort of test to overcome the animus before you can leave the Adventure Phase if this is your point of return.

Hm. In that case, I'll go ahead and chance the Fate Point:

-1 Fate to re-roll 6: [1d6] = 2

Well, that's that. Fate score updated. With rolls like I've been having, we'll see if Raizenbrayne ever wants to come back to Estwatch again!

Or if he even makes it... ;)

I believe I've got 3D in cash, 2D from the Mayor and 1D from Ag in exchange for the Sword so that'll be 3D vs Ob2. I'll assume I'm working with the same consequence for failure as Raizenbrayne is.

[1d6] = 1, [1d6] = 1, [1d6] = 5

Yeah, screw this town.

Does using cash insulate me from anything or provide any benefit other than letting me roll at all?

Oh right! Never mind--using the cash does in fact insulate both of you from bad side effects since you used more cash dice than the failure margin. Thanks for reminding me of that :)

Now that we're all settled, it is time to decide upon a destination for the next adventure. What will Chapter Two entail?

I gotta confess, we've been in town for so long, I don't remember our options.

Since no one sought out rumors, they are:

1. Return to Damring to recover more loot
2. East across the valley to the quarry to go demon-hunting
3. Further east to pillage the wizard king's barrow
4. North to Nidraith's tower

Agrom thinks we should adventure more and get stronger before we hunt demons. And he could currently give a f*ck about Nidraith's Tower. Maybe he'll warm up to the cleric later...

So he's up for Damring or the wizard king.

Lavender wants to go to the Wizard's tower, or she'll complain that the party should be going to the Wizard's Tower if there's any other choice. 8-)

Nice! So that means I get my Fate point back?
