Goddamnit, I knew it!

Oh, we got Trouble! Right here in Vaul City!
With a capital T and that rhymes with E and that stands for Elf!

Ok I'll stop.

I wonder how the fight would go with Val's lawful good sword and this chaotic evil sword... Battle of good vs. evil? That'd be something for Val to write on!

After the first round, with equal combatants, the good sword has the obvious advantage in both offense and defense (it's a bigger sword, better enchantment, plus potentially an armor class bonus when fighting a sword like that). The question is whether a failed save during the first round would be enough to turn the tide.

Well, it's an evil, bloodthirsty sword--what else do you expect?

The creepy part is, that it's not 100% of the story. Muahahahaha.

Those who have staves that were identified via this gifting process, consider yourselves to have learned the command words in the process.

(and thank Zhym for his dogged pursuit of more for the result) ;)

What? Zhym's dogged pursuit didn't include ring commands?

First round of job interview (via phone) complete. Won't be face-to-face interviews until the week after next. Got my fingers crossed!

Now that we have the Tower of Wendall getting set up as a settlement/resource, I have requested Tonixx set up sub-forums for each settlement. So, there will be one place for threads with activities taking place in Vaul, one for activities taking place in The Tower of Wendall, and so on as new civilized locations are established. As the amenities offered grows, these new locations can be considered as starting and stopping points for expeditions, as well!

This game has really exploded into some kind of animal lol.

Thank you Keehnelf for all of the confusing and probable large amount of work you've done for us players in setting up this world!

I always assumed it would turn into a monster given enough time and interest. I'm just glad it's an animal with teeth ;)
