OOC
Re: OOC
Since you had one more round where the wolves couldn't catch you even if you failed the Retreat check, I decided to only have the two that failed the first check try again. It would be pretty hard for all four of you to pass at the same time, especially since half of you had burned one Luck already.
Re: OOC
At some point, I am going to stop giving you more insight into the rules (unless you ask for it) and just play. But since we're all learning ToA together, I'll expand on how I'm running things.
Going strictly by the rules, there is only supposed to be one Travel Event per day. Since you have already gotten one (the wolves), and successfully avoided them, there is no reason not to continue toward the ruined village. The only bad thing that could happen at this point is getting lost, since you're off the road now. So while I'd love to see a fight, you guys can basically ignore the wolves from here on out if you want.
I will probably roll to see if there's a Night Encounter but that's only a possibility, not a guarantee.

Re: OOC
I'm actually getting a lot out of the rules explanation, but again, if it's too much trouble, don't do it.
Re: OOC
We are entering a dungeon so please let me know:
- Marching order (both single file and 2x2)
- Who is carrying a light source, and what is it (torch or lantern)?
Re: OOC
I generally have my short sword and 10' pole out, but if no one is able to carry a torch I can leave the pole outside and carry the torch (just being the Rogue it is not my first choice)
I can be 2nd in the single file and with Rex in the 2x2 unless some else prefers those locations.

Re: OOC
I generally will have my long sword out and carry a torch most of the time. When in combat, I will generally drop the torch in favor of the shield. I will also start off with Opportunist - When you reduce a foe to zero hit points with a melee or thrown attack, immediately make another melee or thrown attack as my combat style.

Re: OOC
I have forgotten to keep the party appraised of the Dungeon Tally. You started at 0.
Searching Room 1 raised it to DT 1.
Fighting the skeletons raised it to DT 2.
Searching the skeletons and Room 2 (which, by the way, was otherwise empty and uninteresting) raised it to DT 3.
When the DT hits 6, I roll on the Dungeon Event table.
