One more note, as I re-re-read the rules: one of you must be the Guide. For the first six miles or so, you'll be in farmland with roads but after that it's wilderness.

Just looking at this. Quartermaster sounds like a good fit for her. I think of it as more an intelligence thing but she is OK at that as well, her +3 at disadvantage probably washes out to at least average if not +1.

I may have given you a bit of inaccurate advice. Wilderness Lore is not required for the Guide role, and it's an Intelligence check. Shysie has a +3 to her INT and should be your choice for the Guide role, unless you're Tracking a Quarry (in which case Wilderness Lore is a requirement).

Shysie has a +1 from CHA but Baldwin has the Leadership skill, which gives him a +1 bonus. So they are the same when it comes to Quartermaster.

I am going to switch the Travel Roles for the pair so you are less likely to get lost.
