Re: Lots of Running Down Corridors
Ben unsure if it is needed reaches for his gun again and moves closer waiting to see what is on the other side of the door.

Is someone opening the door?

Rosa
Yes.
Yes.
Re: Lots of Running Down Corridors
Is Rosa still wearing her helmet?
Rosa reaches forward with her free hand, holding her gun ready. She turns the knob and pushes the door open and in to its right...
Beyond the door is a large room dominated by what can only be described as a control panel. The trio see a variegated array of knobs and gauges and switches and dials and monitors -- a veritable cavalcade of old-timey devices. But their attenrion is immediately drawn beyond the panel.
From behind the panel they see a column of glass filled with a cascade of swirling lights. The column pumps up and down and the lights coalesce and swirl within its oscillating structure, beating like a luminescent heart.
And there is a hum. A constant, steady, almost comforting hum that fills the room. Something about the sight and sound fills them with a moment of awe.
(I presume every player recognizes what sort of room your character is in. Only Rorexsth recognizes it from past experience (although not this SPECIFIC one).

Rosa
No helmet now, she doesn't want to hinder her sight or hearing.
She moves cautiously into the room.

Re: Lots of Running Down Corridors
Ben curiosity and interests peaked moves into the cool looking control room "Hmm this almost looks to me like some sort of ship's console and control panels. But a ship like none I have seen. It can't be can it?" he trails off in though never saying what he meant to at the end of his statement.
i feel like I am seeing this maybe?

The design is a bit different. Simpler. The room is simpler too, with lots of old wooden chairs around the periphery.
And the center column of pulsing light is more... spectacular. Brighter, more colors.
Anyone else going in?

Rorexsth "Great. Don't touch anything. He looks in to see if anyone is currently inside. If it looks empty, he'll enter and check the controls for the 'flight pattern' and destination ETA.
