The flight log download happened a day before Pinkwater boarded the Perfect Stranger.
The ships launch departed 10 hrs before Pinkwater arrived on the scene.
Well, that’s intriguing. Ty knows he should help with repairs, but that timeline catches his attention. Perhaps solving this riddle needs to happen to ensure they can shuttle the ship back to Imperial hands.
He will dig even deeper into the ship logs to review all external door openings and determine patterns of behavior. Starting from arrival on Acadie, he woukd expect to see external door openings/closings that look consistent with arrival behaviors (cargo offloading, life support refills, catering, basic servicing/maintenance, more comings and goings during day time than local night). He’d continue assessing the logs to see if anything unusual stands out the day before the ship’s boat departs. He would definitely peruse closely the door timestamps from the day befor until present.
Does anything appear unusual?
Were any doors opens between the Pinkwater entry and present?
Once he’s delved as deep as he can on door logs and ship’s boat records, scan the system diagnostics/maintenance logs to see when subsystem components started tripping off-line. Can he piece together a context for those failures in the timeline of the flight log download and ship boat departure?
On shipwide intercom…
Ya Gabe.
He’d suggest using that cash for the repairs. Ty would be willing to delay his repayment of impound fees if the crew wants to use that remaining seed money to buy and sell freight as they travel to accomplish their mission. He’d be willing to take his 29,500 credits from the profits earned later on. Split any profits evenly?
After Gabe’s discussion winds down, he'll inform the crew via open ship intercom of his findings and the contextual timeline of the flight log download, the ship boat departure the following day followed by Pinkwater’s arrival after that.
What d’ya make of that? I’m still digging deeper to see if there are any more clues in the ship data. Can’t think of any reason why an insider threat would need a copy of the flight log. Did someone or something infiltrate the ship to get the download? Where was the crew then? Hmm…
By the way…Pinkwater is a local Acadie dirt-side Merc company. Not seeing much to indicate a naval or merchant component to them.

Is there a log of internal door operation timestamps?
