I have 1,046 xp. But I have been fighting ghouls, killing several by myself. Gary, have you been giving out xp together or individually? If together I would expect us to be the same, otherwise not. I don't care either way and am fine if everyone levels together.

whats our xp total?

I much prefer the rules for Pathfinder 1E...2E is just...a bit much. ;)
I don't understand the clear your xp thing...unless xp is not important? So, why keep it if you level up after 1000 pts? I don't know > this doesn't make a lot of sense to me. And I've already had 2 cups of coffee!

I've done both...and that's my fault for allowing you guys to sandbox it in town. I jest here. I have no issues with giving out individual XP or group XP, and I love side quests. I'm trying to level out XP, but it's a challenge...especially when I don't understand the flipping rules about how to configure it.

I think the thought on clearing xp is so you never have large numbers to deal with. I have seen that as a complaint with older editions of D&D in online forums. For me that would require special circumstances to be a legit complaint.

How it looks to me is you could just chart it so that each level needs 1000xp x current level to reach the next level. So 2nd level needs 1000, 3rd needs 2000 etc. Then don't bother clearing them.

I am not familiar enough with how the system awards xp to know but at first glance it looks like it levels a lot faster then other editions unless there is some sort of mechanic like divide xp/level before rewarding.

It's either what Rex suggests or you could go the route of 5e D&D and just do milestone leveling. You just basically tell us when we have hit level 2 and so forth.

Just like items and such, you should be keeping track of your XP.
I haven't given out a ton so far, but that will increase as you face more difficult scenarios.
Right now, it seems Khawla is ahead of you; which is not a bad thing since she is a priest. More healing, the better, right? ;)

I appreciate that. For now, let's just keep on with XP; make sure you are taking notes in your character sheet or in your personal threads.

I have been known to occasionally miss something with character tracking, but xp has never been the thing I missed, LOL.

I went back through the XP posts and didn't come up differently so I figure it was something extra earned in private. Not a big deal I just thought i missed something.

Tumbler may be on the way with healing potions or he might need bailing out from jail.

Elwood tried to chase Tumbler down but that stink eye look he received made him back off. So don't expect a quick bailing out on his behalf :P

Elwood wouldn't get him arrested. He was just chasing him down to find out what he was up to then report that Tumbler gave him the slip. ;)
