Re: Feywild: Into the 'Wild Blue Yonder':
With B.R.A.G returning to Helix, if most want to just skip the evening and return I am fine with that, too. That way characters can shift between groups or form new groups, as desired.

Either works for me.

Re: Feywild: Into the 'Wild Blue Yonder':
Dougal will join Moriartus in the exploring the cellar. Comnhaol will be left behind though, as he can be noisy.
I think it's too early to return. We haven't even attempted our main mission here.
9 elixirs mean 9 people can go into the fey realm, but what about return? We would need as many, right?

this is ooc info and in character decisions should not be based on it.With B.R.A.G returning to Helix, if most want to just skip the evening and return I am fine with that, too. That way characters can shift between groups or form new groups, as desired.

Understood. Please disregard what I wrote.
A very good question. We should ask Bjornak about this.9 elixirs mean 9 people can go into the fey realm, but what about return? We would need as many, right?

Raven
Moriartus, count me in for the exploration.
I don't see any reason to head back, but if some would prefer a different adventure nows a good time to part ways.

Re: Feywild: Into the 'Wild Blue Yonder':
I am just concluding my draft post and checking archives notes, but the next update, later tonight, will take the group into the Fey realm rather than drag out another wilderness trek to the dryad & Sacred Grove if folk are okay with that.

Re: Feywild: Into the 'Wild Blue Yonder':
I will update a new thread tomorrow, adding +100xp to each character for the delays and the harvesting of the pearl clams and locating the underwater mausoleum.
Re: Feywild: Into the 'Wild Blue Yonder':
Stepping into the Fey Forest
I will edit here with a prologue that covers your trek to the Silvanus Grove and using Bjornark's potions, to phase-step into the sacred Oaks and out into the forested area from which Arturo fled.

Re: Feywild: Into the 'Wild Blue Yonder':
Taking another day to harvest clams and with some extra druidic skill and prays to Silvanus, Herbe, St Ygg and Arcantryl, the divine blessings provide a remedy to certain logistical problems.
Potions in hand, the group journey to Crooked Yew, the Hernite settlement expanding with the new St Ygg chapel and militia barracks.
Druid Clive receives the group again and Amphoebe the dryad is there, rested from her own disease recovery.
You discuss current affairs and the progress of solving the environment crises.
notes from before
equip: +1 Honeycomb each which will serve as a minor healing potion. The trek from caves to sacred grove is uneventful, no more Grimlocks, Quillans or radical elves to delay your sojourn. You arrive once more in the One Tree grove and check upon its continued security and that no more Driders or hybrid creations of the elves have taken up residence within its boughs or the hollowed tree.
All is well here. There are potions to sip which alongside a ritual will enable folk to phase or 'step' from one dimension to another. A daring and unexplainable phenomenon best left to the reasonings of arcane or divine powers. Of course, in the distance past, Dougal turned back time. So what is any dimensional.challenge of time and space.
Moriartus, 13/13hp
Dougal (Conmhaol), 23/23hp (8/8hp)
Raven (Lenore), 8/8hp (12/12hp with Familiar) (4/4hp)

Hake, 10/10hp
Two-Birds, 9/9hp

apologies again for the slow posting here. Glad to get it moving again with a new challenge for you guys to face ...

notes from before
There are few 'great Oaks' left in this region. Many felled for timber, exported to sawmills to be lumbered into shipwrights planks or carpentered into grand furnishings. And so a trek again across the Blackened Forest bordering the southern Barrow Moor. This time accompanied by a contingent of Duchy troopers for extra security. They go as far as the old Troglodyte Caves where you can bee-smoke out the hives to harvest a portion of delicious and healing honeycomb.Inspecting Arturo and listening to his story He concludes that the cause may be through the work of one of the 'Seven Sisters'. A wretched hag, ugly as sin and despoiled by evil in her ways. One of the 'seven sisters' who roam the Moors, exiled banshees of elven descent. They hate all things pertaining to life and beauty.
Bjornark seems more concerned with the testimony that 'the Green Man' turned his face, sensing that whatever happened prior, it had a caused the God's displeasure. He is less concerned with the man turning slowly into a tree.
"To solve this, you may need to return to the grove and root out the Hag herself. If this place is indeed Fey touched then accessing it may only come via Fey means. I know Dryads travel themselves via the great Oaks, their tree trunks acting as host ports to dimensional steps."
He can concoct a potion which the right compounds that may allow the drinker to be absorbed into the tree and step across the unseen nature into another Oak copse. But would need "some Weir-wood rootstock, taken from a holy shrine itself."
