Sah'c District

Sah'c District was a wealthy district of Coruscant, bordering the Senate District. It was named after the Sah'c family that owned much of the District. Sah'c District was the location of a secure command bunker that the Supreme Chancellor was to be relocated to in case of an emergency or disaster. This bunker was connected by secure tunnels to 500 Republica, the Senate Building, and the Senate Office Building. Sah'c District contained Sah'c Canyon, which was lined by skyscrapers and a maglev train rail and lead to the Chancellor's emergency command bunker from the Senate District.

CoCo Town

CoCo Town, also known as CoCo District, was a commercial district located in the upper levels of Coruscant. Notable locations in CoCo Town included Dex's Diner, the CoCo Penitentiary, the CoCo District Theatre, Pom Plaza, Pets' "N" Pieces, and an archive building of the Galactic Museum. CoCo Town (short for Collective Commerce District) was an upper level district full of exclusive stores, restaurants and old-style diners. Many of these establishments catered to the maintenance crews and support staff working in the upper levels, while more refined eateries served the wealthier citizens of Galactic City. Diners and canteens such as the one owned by Dexter Jettster were frequented by spacers, freighter pilots and an array of beings.

Coruscant Underworld

Lying hundreds of stories below the skyscraper pinnacles, Coruscant's urban canyon floors never saw the light of day. Due to its enclosure by larger buildings air was trapped in the lower levels, creating a micro-climate. Trapped moisture contributed to rainstorms and convective wind patterns within the canyon floors. A realm of artificial illumination, the lower levels of the galaxy's largest city were the only affordable areas for many of the planet's citizens. Rumbling with machines that served the elite above, its streets haunted by exploiters and thugs, and its walls riddled with vermin, Coruscant's underworld toughened the strong and consumed the weak. Coruscant's underlevels harbored a larger population than do many entire star sectors, leaving millions beyond the protection of the world's security force. Local neighborhoods were at the mercy of hired thugs and extortionists. But the toughest faces sometimes belonged to vigilantes, who chose to defend the people on their own turf from criminals.

Refuse was compressed into thick blocks and stored in the deeper levels of the Underworld. Much machinery that satisfied the needs to the well-to-do surface-dwellers, were also kept in the depths of the Underlevels and so there was a constant sense of motion and unrest. Artificial lighting barely brightened the dark, sorrowful levels. The Underlevels were home to various mutant species including the Cthon, Coruscani ogre, Duracrete slugs, Mutant Rats, Shadow barnacles, Taozin, and Granite slugs, which often posed a threat to sentient beings.

NIBBER SWOO

The early life of professional cabbie Nibber Swoo was a mystery. He was licensed by the government of Coruscant to travel outside the magnetic traffic-lines of the city-planet. Zooming through the city canyons in his red, open-topped Barkhetta, he had an uncanny habit of pulling up whenever someone needed a lift. Of course, if he had to evade blaster-toting pursuers, he would charge double, though often looking back over his shoulder to take a pot-shot with his trusty hold-out blaster. His cousin worked for a funeral home, where he operated an organic disintegrator. After-hours, he did a roaring trade disposing of bodies for shady figures in the local underworld. As such, Nibber Swoo was often a source for second - hand information about local criminal activity. Nibber Swoo's 'interpretations' of skylane regulations frequently put him at loggerheads with Coruscant Security Lieutenant Ia, who considers Swoo her professional nemesis.

DEX JETTSTER

Dexter "Dex" Jettster was a Besalisk cook with a diverse past. He owned and ran Dex's Diner. Shortly before the outbreak of the Clone Wars, Jettster was running the diner in Coco Town. Due to his wide experience, he was known as a reliable informant. Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi and Quinlan Vos often turned to him when they needed some information.

Now lives in the underworld as an "erased" member of society.
