Agreed.

I will have to try and look later but I think I used a very similar picture for my PC Rumil in a previous game. He is the only elf I have ever run.

Yeah, nice too. This is what I think when I think of elves, not humans (some bearded) with big pointy ears. A lot of the pics I found would be great for half-elves.

Agreed, to me it should be clear they are not humans.

I rolled up NPCs, Marcus and Ferdinand. Ferdinand rolled an 18 for DEX, rolling the 3d6 again got a 6 for +1, continued to roll that until it stopped rolling 6s, 3 more 6s for a total of +4 finally stopped on a 5.

I need to gear them up a bit more. Ferdinand has spent some time in the circus and is an Acrobat.

That's what annoys me a bit about the elves in The Witcher, particularly the prequel. The elves are just humans with pointy ears, culturally they are really no different either.

The Witcher books are much better than the shows and the prequel show was the worst of the shows, much worse. The other races in particular they have done a really poor job with. I think the Witcher world of the books would make a really cool campaign setting actually, particularity right around the year 1000 or a little later. I even bought the Witcher RPG just to get some ideas for a campaign but I have never done anything more than read it a couple of times.
