Louis
Knowing that the man is dead now, or likely after a prolonged beating from the locals, he decides on the route he considers the most merciful for both Carlo and the souls of the villagers, and plunges his blade deep.

Re: IC:2 A lost love
Farid
Farid presses the resting Ilyas trying to keep him on his heels.
Fight +3 Defense [_4d6]=(2+6+1+2)=11
-1, +1, -1, -1, +3 = +1
Do I have anything I can spend from last round to boost this?
Fight +3 Attack [_4d6]=(1+1+4+5)=11
-1, -1, 0, +1, +3 = +2
Or this?
Looks like the back and forth continues.

Re: IC:2 A lost love
Kerecsen observed the two blade duels with professional interest. His League comrades were fighting with all due skill and expertise and his help was not needed. He retrieved the Greek sailor's pants (he had had to handle fouler things before) and ripped strips from the nearby bedding. He approached the crawling cur. Do us a favor and put on your pants, fellow. It will greatly improve the view while I bind your wrists and ankles.

Round Seven combat rolls
Farid took 1 Physical Stress in round six, how is he doing?
For others, keep in mind that if you have Fate points you can activate Ilyas' Consequences. Or you can act to Create an Advantage that Farid can use.
Actor | Attack Roll | Defense Roll |
Ilyas | 1 | 2 |

Louis
His opponent defeated, Louis watches Farid's fight with interest, ready to step in if it starts to go badly for his friend, but stays back for now.
I'll spend a fate point to activate Ilyas' Consequences.

Re: IC:2 A lost love
Time flowed differently as the duel between two passionate warriors continued. Both men were skilled, yes, and determined to support their cause. Farid, an agent of the League of Adventurers, knew that Ilyas was in Europe to cause as much pain here as he had elsewhere. Slaying him was just, argued the spirits of his kin. Beautiful Germany, wracked by war and ravaged by the after effects, could not speak for herself. She was too wounded, and too far from hope.
Hope, embodied in a foreigner of good heart, took a defensive stance and used a half-hearted attack to gauge his weakening enemy. Yet even that attack threw Ilyas even further from his goal.
Farid's energetic defense had given Ilyas a momentary insight, and he struck home yet again. Yet the slight wound to Ilyas' arm slowed him down enough that Farid's energetic offense exhausted all of his reserve energy.
The end came down to passion; Farid's total dedication to a just cause, versus Ilyas' complete commitment to himself alone. The weaker cause lost, as it should be.
Ilyas is "Taken Out", and the decision of what to do lies with Farid.

Farid
Farin ends Ilyas' reign of terror, a slash that appeared to barely touch Ilya's throat, cut deep enough to just sever his aorta. The end came quickly for Ilyas.
Farid, seemed to not enjoy his victory, stoic as always, "What must be done was done."
