Regency to Depart UFA Space
The Regency has announced that, in accordance with its Abandonment Policy, its diplomatic missions to the United Followers of Augurgh and the Windhorn Pack of Two are being terminated with immediate effect.
They are at pains to note that this does not constitute any change in the friendliness of the relationships with these two states.
The remaining Regency staff at the missions will be evacuated this week.

Obituary
It is with some regret that we announce the passing of Gerzgekoeknaelsaeklla, long-time teacher of the youngsters of the Surmaku Pack. He worked for many years with the young and retired due to ill-health in 1136. Those whom he taught will be saddened that his stories of Zorrkutagzoe's adventures were never published and that the recipe for his "Ser Ae" treats has gone with him to the grave.

Final visit by Regency Admiral?
Department of Pack Security
In respect for the relationship between the United Followers of Augurgh and the Imperial Regency, permission has been granted for the Cruiser INS Mesekan to enter the Talon System to act as transport for the departing Ambassador and the remainder of the staff.
Regency Admiral Arabella von Ericsson is expected to be aboard for discussions with Augurgh himself regarding Regency aid to the Vargr defence against the oncoming Virus and its minions.
Augurgh arrived on the planet yesterday and has been visiting his key supporters this morning.

Ikhaba under Vargr Administration
The Uziha has announced that it has secured a new contract to supply minerals to the UFA Fleet Construction and Modernisation programme from the mines on Ikhaba (Deneb 2905) recently abandoned by Ling Standard Products.
After 800 years, we have regained these mines from the Imperial Invaders. They are not what they once were, but will still be a valuable asset to the United Followers of our beloved leader, Augurgh.

Akothe Regiment disbands
Following a major disagreement between the senior officers of the Akothe Marine Regiment, the Regiment has formally disbanded.
Several line companies have been snapped-up by other units, and some specialist units have announced that they will be "Going it alone".

UFA Pack hired to re-programme Aerfor's Picker Droids
The Dzarrgh Federate Governor of Aerfor has awarded a multi-million credit contract to provide a Picker Droid re-programming package to the planet to a Talon based pack.
This contract has been awarded as a result of the joint-security protocols agreed earlier this year and will aid not only the security of this planet and its residents but the residents of the UFA as a whole.
Commentators noted that this was the first indication that there were any joint-security protocols. The UFA's Minister of External Affairs went on the record saying:
If you can call a 1 hour discussion about the security of food supplies a "joint-security protocol", then I guess we have one.

Treachery in the Surmaku Pack

Captain Rradzoka Gora, has betrayed the Surmako Pack by accepting the role of leader in an expedition being organised by the Uzhia. In league with two aliens (one an Imperial Agent; One a representative of the Aslan) he has determined to ensure that, not only will the Surmako miss out on the benefits of his latest project but that the scam will damage the standing of Augurgh himself.
Any moment now he will be seeking to tempt others to join in his treacherous undertaking. We urge our leaders to act now to prevent this!
