The Green Room (OOC)
Re: The Green Room (OOC)
And I'm also going to say:
That was a great one! One of my favorite and most looked forward to games on US so far. I don't know how GM Grognardsw pulled off a Rush-based prog rock game, but in IMO it was full of entertainment and many great and memorable booolsh*t humorous posts Thanks GM all. See you in the other games. o7

Re: The Green Room (OOC)
I can appreciate the time and effort it takes to run a game like this.
I know first hand that GM’s put a great deal of effort in behind the scenes to keep players happy and engaged in their games. Sometimes even going beyond their own comfort levels to accommodate certain styles.
This one was surely another level.
Thanks for running it and great playing with everyone involved!

I lawled way more than once!Bluehorse wrote: ↑Sun Sep 25, 2022 2:20 am Hooter had trouble readjusting to being back in Boston, 1976. His bandmates hand to "manage him" a bit more than before their epic journey. He enjoyed their success as much as they did but it was Alice that found him in the back of the tour bus more than once before a show crying and lamenting about their knowledge the world was one day going to end and there was apparently nothing they could do about it. Re: The Green Room (OOC)
Glad you liked it. I hate this game will be ending but no doubt it was demanding so I wanted to make a good timeline to send off Hooter, especially when I read what happened with Janx. So masterfully done! I hope he got taken away again and spend the end of his days on the pleasure planet with the Queen after all that. He could show her tricks with a picklo and they could make music together.

Re: The Green Room (OOC)
Thanks and it was the band’s great role-playing that brought it to life!
Those were epic epilogues for Janx and Hooter! A Hooter cult is hilarious!

Re: The Green Room (OOC)
Dang, I totally missed having TPK go through New Wave and MTV in the 80s and a crisis about whether to go synth and electronic drums, cut and spritz their hair, and wear suits and skinny ties....

Re: The Green Room (OOC)
Maybe one day we can do a quasi sequel in a CoC game where the Hooter Cult has gone horribly wrong a few hundred years later and we find out how the world really ended.

Oh no. The Hooter cult doesn't end up becoming the Solarians, right? Right?

His Accordion may or may not have been imbued with elder magics

Re: The Green Room (OOC)
Kind of like Mozart's epic "The Magic Flute." Except Hooter's epic "The Magic Accordion."
