Re: Scenario #2: New Beginnings
no worries. I had read somewhere that a spent ioun stone can still circle a person's head, which is useful for casting light on. I guess these are really spent.
Madadam tosses a second, then a third, into the air. He shrugs.
edited to not break any more.

Re: Scenario #2: New Beginnings
3 x Scrolls
110 x gp
1 x moonstone
2 x flasks
1 x hand axe in like new condition
1 x sling in like new condition
1 x working hourglass
1 x composite shortbow in like new condition
Casting detect magic on the items in the chest reveals the scrolls all glow with the magic they contain, as does the axe, sling and short bow. The flasks don't radiate magic (do you open the flasks to see if the contents glow with magic?) the hourglass, and moonstone appear to be normal non-magical as well same with the money.

Re: Scenario #2: New Beginnings
Madadam prods, What about the glass timekeeper? Is it magic? And now Lok at the stones I showed. Do any glow more or less?
Re: Scenario #2: New Beginnings
Upchuck frowns at the prod from Madadam
"Keeps yer fingers to yourself! The weapons is magic, as is the scrolls. The flasks not, but I needs to see inside to be sure. Show me these stones and I will tell you"
Upchuck will look at the ioun stones. Then he will proceed to examine the scrolls.

Re: Scenario #2: New Beginnings
That was meant to be a verbal, not physical, prod! Nicely played, though.
Madadam holds the box out for Upchuck to scan.

The Ioun stones glow with a magical aura all of the ones that did not get tossed into the air and break on the floor that is to say. ooc: flasks we talking the ones Praek almost "tasted" then found them to be acid? if yes then no the liquid does not radiate magic.

Re: Scenario #2: New Beginnings
OOC: You guys are at the top of the tower atop the wall the only place up is the roof and there is no way to gain entry to the tower roof. Do you mean to go down and check the first floor that was skipped?

Re: Scenario #2: New Beginnings
Hmm. I'd assumed the tower roof was crenellated for archers to stand on. Hence why I said "up." No wonder this castle failed.
Madadam clears his throat to get the others' attention. Not up. No up to go. Just down. He points to the hatch in the floor. Or stairs. Whatever the mode, he nudges Biskins that way.

Re: Scenario #2: New Beginnings
Tower 1: 2nd Floor: Down from the rooftop
Finding a hatch that goes down a ladder to the lower level my mistake you guys were on the bulwark & tower roof in the skeleton battle. Each of you climbs down the ladder into the room below that appears to be an armory for the tower old armor stands empty some old bows and quivers along with crossbows and bolts are in weapon racks and in stands with quivers most of which did not stand the test of time well some however appear to be well preserved somehow perhaps the items were magical? Aside from that there is a couple bunks that are rotted and collapsed a couple small wooden shields with severe rot, however there is a helm and metal buckler that appear to be in good condition. A table in the middle of the room and a few chairs all of wood appear to have been overly well preserved as they appear like they could be used without falling to pieces. There appears to be two sets of stairs leading down to the ground level from here. There are 4 footlockers (metal chests) left open near the bunks they appear to be empty.
1 Longbow (still looks like new)
2 Shortbows (still looks like new)
1 Light Crossbow (still looks like new)
1 Heavy Crossbow (still looks like new)
2 Quivers of flight arrows (still looks like new)
1 Bolt case of light crossbow bolts (still looks like new)
1 Bolt case of heavy crossbow bolts (still looks like new)
Actions?

Praek
Praek will search the room for secret doors, chambers and compartments, including the chests. "Keeng look for an exit, seems there should be one." Praek takes the helm and buckler.
