Re: OOC III
That's awful!
Re: OOC III
Now that I've read Storm's post, I do recall there is a chance of wiping nearby spells from the spellbook when casting direct. Can't tell you where to find it, tho.
Re: OOC III
It is in the unearthed arcana under the spellbook section I think.
Usually the stuff that protects against a certain element has a lesser effect against magical versions there of (except Druid spell's which ROCK on Druids themselves) Like rings and spell's of fire resistance and cold resistance, fire shield (both versions) endure heat and cold etc.

Greys Campaign.

Re: OOC III
Thanks Inferno!!!
I honestly don't remember ever reading that. (although I'm sure I have, 25 years ago) I will have to check that out again sometime. Thanks for the heads up.
Since it doesn't really matter in this one shot game, I think we can simply not worry about this rule.tkrexx wrote:Nope. Honestly it's been so many years since any of my PCs have done that I completely forgot. Are you checking every time you cast a spell out of the book that the the spell's before and Cher or the whole book doesnt wipe?

Are the squares 10 foot squares or 5 foot squares.

I must have missed the rule about when people start dying that it's ok to take two actions in one round?tkrexx wrote:Mira wastes no time (or manners) grabbing and downing the potion Wyntar described as Haste. Still in winged ape form, she, and all of her illusionary doubles, leap toward the enemy.
Re: OOC III
D'OH!! Well, we know what she'll do next round, unless someone else wants to grab the speed potion.
Re: OOC III
Hi,
I'm going out of town for two weeks, I don't expect to get online. I'll be back on 8/22.
Please NPC my character if I'm holding things up. Blodget will try to steal that gem. If he gets it, he'll throw it to Mira, or the nearest mighty wizard. After that, he'll try to backstab the evil monster, if she ever gets out of that damn corner!
Thanks. Have a good fortnight, everyone.

Thanks Paul!!!greyarea wrote:I hate endings like that too, Ogre Mage. Especially scripted like that. Ugh. Much prefer how you handled it.
Bravo for an excellent adventure. What's next?
That is very cool of you to say.
It was great having you as a player. Now, where can we start up another game where you can play as a hobbit?

Thanks Mark.Dram wrote:Ogre Mage this is a great mod to play. I like the endings like this. Do you have another mod in mind to play? If possible I like to continue with these PC's.
I don't have the sequel written up yet.
I wasn't actually planning on continuing anything with this adventure but........ I do have a few other higher level mods in the collection so, I suppose I could look through the pile and see if any of them would make a nice follow up to this one.
No promises though.
Re: OOC III
You pick it I'll play it.

Re: OOC III
I'd be happy to play in another module as well. I would create a new character, obviously.
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

You could play Monky's identical twin brother, who stayed at the monastery and is now looking to finish what his brother started with the {insert name of our company here} on their next adventure.Scott308 wrote:I'd be happy to play in another module as well.
