The dandy returns and thanks Odilo profusely while also forgiving Orando. He believes that he has figured out the way around their current stalemate but unfortunately, the magic needed for it has already been exhausted.

Epi, always one to do the right thing, extinguishes the ogres cooking fire while the group decides to head back to town to meet up with Brother Tomas. The half-orc takes the lead and sashays his bloodied, grotesque figure back towards the trail, all but commanding the others to follow.

Orando offers to stay and camp here alone tonight to keep an eye on the place. His spell of invisibility will last through the night, keeping him unseen. He gets no argument from the others about it and they all agree to head back out to meet the elf at the mornings first light. That gives Orando around 16 hours to do whatev.............let's not even go there.
If this suits you all, I will continue on to the meeting with Brother Thomas and then Orando's actions will be handled in his private thread until the party regroups in the morning.

Sir Ugghra, half-orc aristocrat:

Great.

The well-bred beast will go to his room at the inn and bathe and change into clean clothes before meeting Tomas with the others.

Alone in his room, feverishly washing his hands of the blood of an ogre he had murdered and ingested, Sir Ugghra says, "Out Damned Spot!"

Ok, it's settled then.
The trip back to town goes by uneventfully and it is getting close to late afternoon by the time you reach the outskirts. The place looks the same as when you left but you do notice Ugghra getting quite a few stare downs as he passes by the innocent townsfolk with his face and clothing completely covered in dried blood.

You all head back to The Weary Traveler for a meal and a drink. Also, so Sir Ugghra can clean the ogre flesh out of his teeth and off his garb.
If there is anything else you want to do at the inn please feel free to add it with your next post and I will consider it to have been done before heading to the temple.
The group heads through town and gets to the intersection that leads up to the temple. You see Captain Teneel exit his quarters as you get closer. He looks as though he is about to hail you but when he sees that you intend to go and speak with the priest, he says nothing and you are allowed to continue on your way.

Ernie stands at the temple entrance as you approach.

Sir Ugghra, half-orc aristocrat:

Sir Ugghra Caine, of the Chenl Caines, was utterly resplendent in gleaming, full dress armour as he entered the dining room of the Weary Traveler. His military bearing was erect and precise. For colour, he had chosen a new cape of royal blue.

After cordially greeting his friends and joining them at table, he said, "No, Nothing For Me, Thank You. I'm Not Hungry. Couldn't Touch a Bite."

Whiling away the time at the tower ruins, the inivisible Orando finds need to relieve himself. He unleasehes a stream upon the tomb, following the swirl pattern. One never knows.

Just before dark, the elf relieves himself by peeing into the alter's swirl, filling in the engraved pattern with elf urine and splashing it onto some of the letters as well.

Nothing happens, but he does feel better.

With his loyal porter now gone, Orando finds it somewhat boring just waiting out here alone for the party to return in the morning.

He thinks about a nice glass of wine when suddenly, he hears a bit of commotion coming from the north. The noise is emanating from the woods, well past the clearing.

Orando slides out Fucking Bastard ever so slowly, stays still, and peers into the gloom hoping his infravision can make out what is causing the noise.

The elf watches the area the noise is coming from but, even as the night grows darker, he picks up no heat source with his infravision.

The noisy commotion does not stop and might even be getting closer. Every few moments Orando sees a tiny flash of light blinking through the trees but still can't tell what might be heading his way.

Orando waits tensely for the lights or those making them to come into view.

The rustling gets louder until you finally see the outline of a human form emerge from the trees. It doesn't seem to spot you yet as it begins to shuffle around the grounds, keeping mostly to the perimeter of the tree line.

You see no heat coming from this creature and the shiny flashes of light that you saw are clearly emanating from the things eye sockets.

Intrigued and thankful for his invisibility enchantment, Orando remains stock still and watches the unknown creature. The lack of body heat implies an undead or unnatural creature. Orando tries to observe if it is some golem, or automaton of metal. He has heard of tinker gnomes experimenting with such things.

You are able to watch as the thing makes slow and shuffling circles around the perimeter of the clearing. The creature does not appear to be a construct. It's movements seem a bit jerky but there is no sound of clinking metal.

The thing seems to be making strange gurgling and moaning noises as it proceeds with its laps.
