Chapter 02: across the badlands
Re: Chapter 02: across the badlands
Ox, Jacob and Norbold stay behind to watch Korin get close to the western face of the Ridge. You see Korin stop just below the structure to look up towards the supposed opening. If you want to communicate with him from where you stand, you will have to shout.
What Korin sees has been PMed to GW separately

Ox- Jacob you seem to be able to Korin without using words. Ask him if sees anything.

Re: Chapter 02: across the badlands
Ox, Norbold and Jacob see Korin examine the base of the structure, then he starts to climb it. From his movements you understand it is obviously a staircase he's going up.
He moves up the stairs, stops almost at the top and then appears to peer into the presumed opening. From the same position, he turns around a bit, to check where you guys are

Ox begins to move slowly towards Korin. Jacob how far do you think we can get before we alarm anyone?

Re: Chapter 02: across the badlands
Korin signals the others to come on up to the stairs. Using his hand signals that his friends should understand by now.

If Ox, Jacob and Norbold come to the foot of the stairs that Korin climbed, it looks like this to them:
It is still quiet.Re: Chapter 02: across the badlands
Norbold Ernessaeia [Sylvanian Elf Cleric: Scale Mail AC 6 : 2 / 2 HP]:
At the foot of the stairs, Norbold awaits another signal that it's ok to come on up.
Meanwhile, he scans all around him for any signs of an ambush with his weapon at the ready.

Re: Chapter 02: across the badlands
Korin goes back down to inform the others "So far everythin' is quiet and as far as I can discern this is all new construction from within the last two years. I've not found a single trap as of yet. Shall we enter or what would you fellows like?"

Re: Chapter 02: across the badlands
Jacob groans quietly, "signs of construction but no life anywhere... This always ends poorly.." He grips a dagger tucked into his waist and follows with the group, stopping a few steps away from the entrance inside briefly and motioning for the others to do the same, while the entrance is still elevated Jacob will slink down and crawl up to the entrance so enough that he can see inside while not being out in the open.
Life is a roller coaster, if you don't stop to enjoy it then you may as well not even ride.
