OOC - End of Session

#1 Post by Q.Q Elf »

Okay, so in Apocalypse World, you can reassign highlighted stats at the start of a new session. I guess we're doing that here

So, each of you get to highlight 1 stat from someone else.
  • Rukellian, pick a stat to highlight on the Werewolf sheet.
  • MonkeyWrench, pick a stat to highlight on the Infernal sheet.
  • Metal Fatigue, pick a stat to highlight on the Hollow sheet.
Feel free to negotiate or otherwise figure out what you want to highlight.

Then I get to go through and highlight something on everyone's sheet.

Er? I can't highlight something on my own sheet!

At any rate, no matter whose sheet I'm actually meant to highlight, I'm gonna say Volatile. Especially if it's Clark. You should totally retaliate.

It looks like Seth has his work cut out for him, considering what he wants to accomplish, and by Friday no less. Sure fighting and violence can get him places, but I think he also needs to exercise some precaution as well. So, in other words, I want to see the werewolf hold steady at times, really think about what he is going to do before doing it. Cold Stat.

Actually, you can all highlight one for yourself.

I give up my grand power to highlight. 8-)

So, how do I highlight the cells in the character sheet? Is it under formatting options or where? Couldn't find it after a quick search.

There should be a "borders" option.

You need to pick the color, then click the button that looks like a black square (all lines filled in).

Of course, this is from memory since my phone wouldn't work for that.

Well then... If I am doing Rukes sheet... I'm thinking that we should highlight dark. The man gets his life back, with strings attached, and only by peering into the darkness itself will he find out what is truly in store for him...

So my XP stats currently are Cold and Hot?

Your option on the 2nd one, so Hot if you want it.

And since I didn't say it clearly, Seth is welcome to go on the field trip. The police are investigating many leads, but they have no idea about any giant dogs in the school.

Whaaa? No volatile for Clark? Mind if I change my hot to Volatile Q.Q Elf? My roll from earlier will still have the same effect. I personally want to see my character do some more action. He has to build up that 'don't mess with him' rep, you know? :)

Edit: You know what, I think its all good. I already got some experience on my hot stat so that is sort of locked in place now. I can still do volatile moves as many times as I'd like, I just wont get any experience for them, right?

Yep, you can do any of the skill stuff, you'll just only get XP for the highlighted ones.

So I'm highlighting both my own stats?

That is so weird.

OK, hot and volatile.
