Gwydion, Elf Ranger
Gwydion will head north to follow the other two Kobolds, and hopefully reunite with the rest of the party.
*If* he gets within attacking range of Kobolds, he attacks!
Crap:
To hit: [1d20+2] = 2+2 = 4, damage with sword: [1d8+2] = 8+2 = 10
To hit: [1d20-1] = 2-1 = 1, damage with dagger: [1d4+2] = 2+2 = 4
Does that count as a Natural 1? Or a modified 1?
If it does count, drops his dagger:
[1d20] = 6

Re: Chpt. 1 Background/Introduction
Nope. It's a modified 1. I had to edit my last post for thinking it was a natural 1.

nb all this is done as independently of Sammy as possible, with none to minimal interaction, out of consideration to the barbarian's inability to associate with magic-users
spurts past Sammy and delivers a vertically-aligned slash: Bastard sword to hit: [1d20+1] = 9+1 = 10, damage vs S/M opp: [2d4+2] = 2+2 = 4 / damage vs L opp: [2d8+2] = 3+2 = 5 while bellowing "Kob - kob - kob to daddy!"One kobold remaining and fleeing further west. Sammy is close enough to strike at it.

Knowing that others in the party are in the northern chambers, Adel the monk yells "Two kobolds, heading your way to the north!" He'll watch to see where they go to the best of his ability.
As he left his lantern with Biblo, he can't venture too far from the light, so he'll collect his two spears from the dead kobold and spider. He'll be ready for action if any of the fleeing kobolds circle back and attack.
Silently agreeing with Gwenn, he'll follow others as they work to return to a single unit.

Trendt heeding his own words heads back the way he and Freddie entered this place to circle back and check on the other half of the party.

Sammy Barbarian.
Sammy swings again, just a little fed up.
[1d20+1] = 10+1 = 11 to hit [1d10+1] = 6+1 = 7 damage

Biblo, illusionist
Biblo starts by bending back its right forefinger until it breaks. "Do I have your attention dog!" Biblo hisses in the creature's guttural tongue.
"Tell me now how many of you there are! What are your plans!"
"Where is the secret door from whence you came? Describe the caves beyond that door!"
Biblo takes out the kobold miniature he picked up earlier and puts it in the kobold's face. "Who directs your actions with these? Who is your master? Where is he?"
If the kobold is reluctant to talk, Biblo pokes its eye out with the miniature. "Tell me now dog or you will wish for death!"
Biblo double-checks the kobold's bonds to ensure he can't get free. He binds the kobold down in a chair. The creature smells and is pure evil and offends the morals of the scribe. But the vile thing may have valuable information.LilacBird wrote:Gwennethel – Elf Druid... drags the smelly Kobold in the room to Biblo so that he can question him...

Gwennethel – Elf Druid
Gwennethel heads out of the room and begins to collect all her arrows. She sees arrows belonging to Gwydion and Freddie and collects those too. She is watching the south corridor and where the two kobolds seem to be headed.

Llewellyn DeNonce, Attorney at Adventuring, gets a thought into his head after seeing the spider attack a kobold. He emerges from behind the table and walks out toward the hallway, scanning the ceilings for signs of other arachnids.
