Mort "Wexley I don't want to mess with your infravision so would you like to enter first and we'll keep the torch light behind you a few feet or however far behind you want us to follow."

Re: Chapter 8: A Camping We Will Go
Wexley shakes his head in the negative. No Mort, 3 abreast as we did for the Orc cave worked best, with fighter support at the ready. We can look this area over with the torchlight providing us light and wait till we have all crossed and are prepared.
Using the light provided, Wexley will recheck the entrance of the cave with Mort. He will position himself once more to Mort's left and take the left hand wall as his position, waiting on the others after rechecking.
Floor [1d100] = 98, Right Wall [1d100] = 5, Left Wall [1d100] = 30, Front Wall [1d100] = 88 Back Wall [1d100] = 41, ceiling [1d100] = 70, secret doors [1d6] = 2

Mort "Alright I'll signal the fighter support over then." Mort signals to the others to come join up and form up the support lines. Then once the others arrive to form up he will proceed.
Trap Check Floor[1d100] = 70 Trap Check Wall[1d100] = 96 Trap Check Ceiling[1d100] = 74 Secret passages[1d6] = 1

Maya & Victor:
Maya heads over to the cave, forming in the front as vanguard for the group.
Victor walks beside Kormak back to the cave, using the orc heads on sticks to talk to him, saying things like, "Grah! no easy be green! no job for us, recism!"

Choe
Choe helps search for traps IN THE NEXT 10 feet of Cave. His focus on the floor.
[1d100] = 4
Why are we doing a different roll for every architectural feature we encounter? 6 rolls for 10 feet? What gives?

That is how it was requested last time we only did one roll to cover it all.Dizlexus wrote:Choe

Dungeon Master:
Mr. Choe, being a Monk can not search for traps, however i will use that roll as a search for secret/concealed doors converted to a 1d6 roll, & in that case none were found!
As for the other player rolls for the 1st 10 feet no traps or secret doors were found, it is just rough natural cave here.
In the 2nd 10 ft of cave Mr. Choe notes the rough stone walls continue here, then after the 10 feet of floor he searched, the passages branches left & right & continues north.
The next post will better describe the entrance now that i see you are committed to exploring it.
I will end this chapter here & start Chapter 9!
